i transfered some funds from my bank account like i usually do for eBay, typical transaction. almost a week later, this morning, i get an email saying my bank declined the transfer, and they charged my credit card account to cover my payment to the seller. not only that, they've locked my account until my bank notifies them removing the lock.
i called bank of america, and they said there were NO problems on their end. they'd already authorized the transfer, it's paypal's fault. the problem is, they can't even contact Paypal because all they list as contact information is an email, no phone number whatsoever. the BOFA clerk i talked to said they don't have an internet connection there and can't email them, they have to call them, that's how it works.
anyone have a phone number for paypal? this is the first time i've had a problem with them in over a year of being a member, but this is crap. the hassle of getting my account working, sorting it out with the bank, and praying that i didn't hit my credit limit on the credit card (if i did then i have to dispute the charges, argh).
