Quantum systems are incredibly chaotic and sensitive to environmental noise, so the frequency should be changing all time. Not by much by human standards since they are so tiny to begin with.

The islands of the sea are always moved by earthquakes... and earthquakes happened back then, too. It's not hard to imagine someone back then dramatizing those events as the work of "God".

EKGs don't measure the frequency of human beings. They measure the frequency of the heart whether it is attached to a human being or not. Also, if you scratch yourself hard enough your heart rate will change.
