:D Not free, but pretty darn close. The August 11 Circuit City flyer has Fuji 50 packs for 24.99 less 10.00 fuji mir and less 13.00 cc mir. Brings it down to 1.99 after the mirs. This works out to 4 cents each-smokin if you can score the TY's.:D

What does the TY stand for?
Usually when I buy fuji I look for the made in japan cd's, I've never had a problem with them.

Ivwshane-TYs are discs manufactured by Taiyo Yuden-those are made in Japan, and one of the creme de la cremes of cdrs-recognizable by the screw on locking cap at the top of the spindle.

Warm the deal up thusly:

PM @ CC to Radio Shack, who is selling the 50 pk this week for $19.99 (they have a measly $5 rebate)

19.99
-13
-10
-------
you get paid $3.99 to take some TYs off CC's hands. I'd call that hot.

Even better yet ... pricematch them to Staples which has the item for $19.98. Hey, even penny counts!

you'll probably have trouble getting CC to pricematch, but the ad for Rite-Aid (a drug store chain) has a 50 spindle of fuji data cd-rs on page 7 for $12 - $5 MIR/ESR -> $7

Unclebabar:

No problem with the PM at CC to Radio Schlock. Unfortunately, they must go back in light of the new info on Rite-Aid.

For those who are wondering, both rebates are for this week only, so getting them shouldn't impact rebates in the past (like where Fuji [or even TDK] limits you to 3 rebates in a 3 month period, or something like that).

So the deal is:

12
-13
-10
-----
-11

Even with 1000+ in the closet, how can I say no?

The ad for circuit city shows the fujis at 12X.. the Riteaid ad at 16X.
does anyone know how far these discs will 'push'?
I've had 12X Smartbuys that pushed to 32x, I've had 16X memorex that only pushed to 24X.

I think you're right since I did one of the 20 days thing on 7/17/2002 and sent it the same day too for the 100 pack from BestBuy... It's already 25 days but the status on the website still shows:

Your eBates

Product Name Status Date
100 Pack Spindle New 2002-07-17

Are they supposed to update the info or do they just send the checks out?

I think it's www.myrewards.info. I'm on my way to Circuit City now and taking the Radio Shack Flyer with me for the PM! =)

Okay guys, what did you guys do to get CC to pricematch? I walked into CC with the Radio Shack ad for $19.99 and they said they can't pricematch because their end result price would be lower at $1.99. How did you guys do the PM over the phone and then do the hold at store for pickup? Thanks.

I guess I'm lucky..A while back..I got a raincheck from Best Buy for these CDRs...and I went there when their rebates expired to pick up the CDrs and they had to fulfil my rebates right there :) ! $10 for 100pk..not as hot as this deal..but at least no rebates!

This is definitely a hot deal I will try and get in on. Since I have enough cdrs for awhile I will only go for deals where they pay me to take the cdrs off their hands. On a rant note: I am still waiting on a rebate from fuji that I sent out back in May from Best Buy. I called them last week and it seemed that they lost my information :Digust. So, I had to fax it to them. I sure hope that it doesn't take another 8 weeks for me to get that check.

Same thing happened to me except that the cashier didnt realize until the receipts printed, so i got the deal. You probably could buy 'em then go to the CS desk and show them the RS ad and they refund the difference.

Thanks for the deal. I went on Monday and PM to Riteaid. At first the manager used the ploy that their price was lower because of the rebate. I told him that I wasn't PMing the rebate price but the original price before rebate. Then he stated that I won't get the rebate, so I said that I will try my luck. After all that I wanted to stick it to them a little more by getting the 110% guarantee also. Make some more money for taking something off their hands. If you want to stick it to them some more ask for the 110% guarantee. This is still a blazing hot deal. Make about $10 once the rebate comes back. BTW, the Fuji $10 rebate is going to NJ so you might want to send it Certified or Registered mail whichever is cheaper to ensure no lost delivery. I'm doing that this time. ;)

Almighty1, you will need a copy of the Radio Shack or Rite Aid ad with the advertised price. A copy from the web page will also

work. A copy of the Circuit City PM policy. It is in their flyer usually on the last page. Tell the cashier that you want to PM to the ad that

you have. If they say that their price is lower after rebate, say that you are not PM'ing the rebate price but the original price. If they say

that they don't a PM because a rebate is involved, show them their PM policy, it says nothing about not allowing a PM because a rebate is

involved. If they say that your rebate will be denied, say fine you will try your luck anyways. Then, do that as well as the final nail in their

coffin for being so kind to you by giving you much for coming into their store. It will be the manager who will put up the most resistance to

this since the cashier will deny you and you are going to ask to speak with the manager. Once the manager leaves to approve the PM,

ask innocently how that 110% guarantee works. While all this is going on make small talk with the cashier. Then, lay that final blow on

them once they give you the details on how it works then ask for that as well :) :Q. Make some more money for being a good Cicruit City

shopper. . :)

Hope this all helps.

Yeah but the San Francisco store has a computer section so you have to pay within that section and it seems like with the signs, they are aware of the $1.99 after rebate. I had the RS ad with me too and he took it to someone and then came back saying they can't do it, blah blah.

Hmm, where do I get the Rite Aid Ad and where does one get the 110% Circuit City guarantee printed? :) What I did was walked into the San Francisco Circuit City on Van Ness Avenue and then into the computer section where they had the Fuji's and showed the $1.99 after rebate price. So I walked up to the cashier in the computer section and I went, do you do price matches, he said they do so I showed him the RS ad and then he said they can't do it because the final price is cheaper than the RS price so I said it's the price out the door that matters so he took the ad and talked to someone else behind the door and came back and said he can't do it and I said I don't want the rebate and he said you don't have to take the rebate but the $24.99 is still the price. So after that, I left and the cashier gave me back the RS ad. What did I do wrong?
