DLSS is not all that impressive in this game compared to Death Stranding. In Death Stranding it cleared up most of the jaggies and crawling in the areas with buildings and was vastly superior to native res in that regard. In CP 2077 though it has MORE aliasing when using DLSS and its quite distracting on some objects.
well you can choose between cut/uncut and micro/horse cock filters during your character selection screen, and uh, slightly more limited but certainly comparable genital options if you go with the femme V.

I just watched this Optimum Tech video which says, and demonstrates the opposite. DLSS Quality mode is better than native. Not sure what is going wrong with yours. Check it out around this timestamp (7:30):
Here you have side by side sliding comparisons of DLSS on/ OFF. Noticing anything blurry? -_-
Wow. Just, wow.Nope, I see the DLSS side presenting a solid image, while the native side is full of breakups and dot crawl. Not sure how you see the native side as better.
Wow. Just, wow.
So you really don't see the extreme loss of detail and the ensued blurryness? It's like I'm taking on a pair of strong glasses when looking at the DLSS-picture. I don't wear glasses. Everything from sampling, to textures and reflections are blurred out low res. I do understand the performance increase coming with this tech.Yes, Wow, indeed.
Would you care to elaborate on what you are seeing that both I, and the Video poster are missing.
You don't see the dot crawl and image breakup on the native side of the split screen?
You didn't notice the commentary stating that DLSS was a big improvement over native.

Ahh, so youre not referring to the side by side comparison? on Gamegpu? No, neither Optimum Tech, nor myself seem to see what you are talking about. Quoting the video:
"...DLSS Quality actually makes the game look significantly better. Much more detail is resolved, and we don't get those shimmering and flashing artifacts, that we get with native resolution. This is probably one of the best results for DLSS that I've seen in any game."
I see no significant difference in that side by side clip, except the dot crawl and image breakup on the native side. Making the DLSS side notably better.
Provide a time stamp, and image cap of the blurriness you are seeing.
I do notice that you consistently attack DLSS at every opportunity, so perhaps not the most unbiased of observers, anyone else care to examine the above side by side clip and report what they see?
At least I can't feel so bad about my 1080ti.There is no way DLSS quality is better than native, but if you're playing at 4K, it's the only way to get playable framerates in this game. Native 4K looks a -lot- better than using DLSS, but you're talking 20fps on a 3080.
Ahh, so youre not referring to the side by side comparison? on Gamegpu?
That would explain it.
Live action video under right circumstances may of course throw the viewer off on what to look at if the don't know where to look. All textures loose details in DLSS, the difference is striking, and yes. I'm tired of the promotion of the new Jesus tech which is image quality retarding but sold in as IQ-improving.
It's just a simple matter of comparing pictures. Without bias involved, or the fear of loosing the permit to review the next gen cards..

Majority of those are ps4 and xbox players which the game runs like crap for the old gen consoles.sooooo ...
the actual game reviews .. by which, i mean "the people bitching on Reddit" .. are not great. The general feeling seems to be that "it's ok, but underwhelming".
I don't give a crap what he said as I know what I'm looking at and I spent about an hour going back and forth comparing all the different dlss modes and comparing native. This is not an opinion and instead is an absolute 100% fact where I'm testing at and looking at the aliasing is worse with dlss on. Perhaps when I'll get home I'll make a simple little video and show you since clearly nobody else seems to have the ability to see this for themselves.I just watched this Optimum Tech video which says, and demonstrates the opposite. In Control and Death Stranding the overall image is better with dlss on especially if it's on quality. The dlss they're using in those two games actually resolves a lot of the aliasing and crawling and in Death Stranding it is absolute night and day difference with native looking like pure jaggy garbage compared to dlss being on around the buildings. For Cyberpunk 2077 though apparently most people seem to be freaking blind because the aliasing is worse with dlss on even in quality mode as opposed to using native resolution. In fact where I was testing at it was quite jarring just how bad the crawling was on the edges of things when going from native resolution even down to quality dlss. There is no way DLSS quality is better than native, but if you're playing at 4K, it's the only way to get playable framerates in this game.
