If you can live with having gay men in your locker room for free then I'm sure the guys getting paid millions to play will be fine.

Whenever a comment like yours shows up the only things I can think of is that the person commenting assumes that they are so physically irresistible to gay men that they'll try to mount on sight or they merely lack confidence in their own masculinity/sexuality.

Again, why have separate male, female locker rooms then since the same argument applies? Men and women wouldn't be throwing themselves at each other if we did, so why separate them?

You still haven't addressed my question but rather ASSumed too much and danced around it with insults.

You. Already. Have. Gays. In. Your. Locker. Room.

Nothing that wasn't there before is being added.

I don't know if I do, I don't know if I don't.

For sure something is being added. Certainty. Certainty that someone in the locker room is attacked to the same sex. Its no longer a what if scenario and for some this could cause discomfort. But fuck em right, they are just a bunch of sissies for having feelings. Again, great arguments.

We separate men and women for reasons of discomfort. Why not gay and straight for the same reasons? We don't force women to change with men and vice avers just because they are a bunch of pussies for not wanting to.

It never was a "what if" scenario. Your own self-delusion has convinced you otherwise though.

Great argument. You've managed to address nothing. Keep farting and hoping it smells bad enough in here for people to leave.

You've said that you're willing to ignore reality in order to maintain your viewpoint so I'm not sure what's worth saying now.

Unless you've been living in a bubble and/or leading a very sheltered life, there never was a "what if".

The military has found your concerns to be much-ado-about-nothing, Biff... and they're paid a hell of a lot less than professional athletes.

For what their paid, any locker room "discomfort" because they're insecure about their sexuality is most definitely a case of being a pussy.

You haven't presented a great argument, so don't expect a great reply.

Who said I did? I asked a question, actually a couple. No one wants to answer them. Instead we like to hurl insults and big talk to make ourselves look cool. Its cute but it doesn't accomplish much.

Seems to me that players should be asking for separate locker rooms. That would solve any issues, regardless of who thinks that they are important or not.

There are no issues. You have created a false argument.

So anyone who disagrees with you is now a pussy. Anyone who isn't comfortable with undressing in front of a homosexual of the same sex is a pussy. Funny how you expect others to display open mindedness and acceptance but you yourself can't.

Last time I checked, athletes aren't required to live, eat, and sleep together either. The military has no comparison here.

I have created no argument, as I said. Just asked a question based on an observation. Others here appear to be making the false argument.

They want to ignore the reasoning behind separate male/female locker rooms because it doesn't fit their agenda.

No, anyone who disagrees with me on this issue is a pussy.

Yes.

🙄 I accept a great deal and have a very open mind, but I don't surrender my opinions.

I fully support the right of you to be a pussy, but I will exercise my right to express my opinion about your idiocy.

Why? Because they're insecure with their sexuality?

Are women insecure then? Is that why they don't want to change in front of men or want men changing in front of them?

Keep trying to make this something it isn't. This isn't about being insecure or being a pussy.

Your reasoning is flawed. I don't know if you realize this, but males and females are generally quite physically different; rape and unwanted advances are almost always a matter of the female being the victim and the male being the assailant. That's one very big reason why it makes sense to separate based on gender.

It doesn't apply within the same gender.

Yes it is... because if your comfort depends on whether or not you know that someone in the locker room is gay, it is a matter of insecurity and being unjustifiably fearful.. aka being a pussy.

Why? If you have shared a locker with a gay player for years, what has changed other then you know he is gay?

I wasn't aware that changing in the same locker room would lead to rape. Or was there any good reason you brought that up.

Here we are, in a thread about homosexuality, and you are claiming that unwanted advances, being a victim, and rape don't apply to the same gender. Boy aren't we confused.

You now know he is gay. May cause discomfort for some players/people. Uncomfortable players probably aren't the best performers/athletes. Makes sense to alleviate discomfort, where possible.

Perhaps that discomfort is ridiculous, I haven't said it isn't. Just saying that we give women a different locker room for a lot of the same reasons. Why not just make two locker rooms for homo and hetero?

What he is saying is that men are physically stronger than women. Women would be in a vulnerable position if the lockers were mixed. This is not the case with homosexual men. You are creating a false equivalence.
