So I just found a CS go beta invite when I logged onto steam tonight....anyone else get lucky?

screens later..downloading it now.
 
I got into the beta about 5 weeks ago. Sort of lost interest in the game. It's fun but just doesn't hold my attention.

Either it's Italy or Valve is really taking some creative license with the map names. I like how, in their effort to make the game look identical to Call of Battlefield, they have managed to make Italy look like Baghdad. They're basically the same thing, right?

I was looking at the inferno map while i was posting these

The terrorist in one of those shots does make it look like that. 😎
 
Those screen shots just made me want this game very bad. I was a huge fan of CS from the early days, and I played semi-competitively in Source. Hopefully they get this one right too!
 
I really wish they never updated source to the 2007 engine. The 2004 engine was just starting to stretch its competitive wings. They screwed it past the point of no return, at least there is always 1.6
 
Who wants to play a shooter with no AIM-DOWN-SIGHT capabilities in this day and age. Pfft.

Kidding, I wouldn't mind getting a beta of this. Side story, a few buddies of mine were reminiscing about the old days of CS and how people are able to spray paint custom pictures. We had a good laugh about how because of CS that I was first exposed to fecal porn and Goatse guy.
