So copy it over to the Counter Strike folder in the Sierra folder on your HDD 😀
that would make things soo much easier.. not using Steam and doing it the old fashion way and just releasing it to like fileplanet and other mirror sites would make this soo much easier as well..
but the game server searching feature seems to be an integrated part of steam. i guess if someone posts an ip address to a server running 1.6 that would work.. hehe. any takers? 🙂

The update finally stopped in the middle of it, so I restarted it -after sitting there like a boob wondering wtf was going on. Now it's almost done updating. 🙂

Yes, that is a problem running rampant. And what's the only having a handful of servers with pingtimes under 100!? :disgust: I get into a good server, play for a few rounds, then everyone else finds it and tries getting in. The game promptly goes to sh|t.
Anyway. I haven't played with the Famas yet, but the Gililililililililili or whatever the hell it's called is like an automatic glock almost 😀 That and stealing a shield as a T and running around, coming up behind the wall of CTs with the shield up pretending to be a CT then coming out from behind it and blasting them all with the deagle KICKS MAJOR ASS!!! 😀 😀 😀
I cannot tell you how many times I did that on the last server before getting kicked. Oh yeah, that's the thing. I got KICKED because they were too dumb to change their tactics and the Ts had a HUGE lead. 😀

(striped from an AIM convo)...so basically, if you're a terrorist, enjoy your new super-accurate spraygun (although a little weak and short on sec. ammo), and if you're a CT appreciate the fact that you can buy an assault rifle if you're low on cash (like $2100, same as galil). Take advantage of the shield too, man that thing is good. Too bad it's only good if you're totally perpendicular with them.
Well, it seems to be working pretty well now..there are over 350 servers, and I can get into a game basically everytime.
Here's what I think, first of all, the Galil is awesome..it's basically a mini-ak, more accurate, less damage..basically a m1 for terrorists(I think it does a little less damage than the m1 though)
The Famas(CT weapon) is a great weapon with burst fire on, from short/medium distances..with auto fire on, it's a mediocore weapon.
The riot shield is cool, if you're a counter-terrorst..and if you know what you're doing, you can basically block all bullets, pull out your weapon, and kill the enemy while they reload. I think they should take the shield out, because it seems to unbalance things..terrorists have no way to get around it.the only way you can get a kill is if they are moving or not looking completely at you, so you can get a few shots in on the side...if a team full of CT's buys riot shields, and terrorists buy guns, CT's can basically sit at a bomb site and defend until the clock runs out without getting hit.
