If you increase your cpu core voltage you'll be able to reach higher speeds....I think you own a nice chip, go for 2.7 or 2.8 Ghz!!!!
You'll notice the difference in speed!! Trust me!!

Scores updated guys!
Added: cw42, welcome to this thread!!
Have a nice day people!!

It's actually very slow compared to the other P-D users. ???? It's D.C. ram, and i think the timings are 2-3-2-6.

Like, Zahir5776 is pretty high, even though his ram score is low:

At 3.646 overclocked 30%.
It is ALU+FPU+MEM=40954
ALU 16771
FPU 18155
MEM 6028

Even alrox's score of 34536 Intel Pentium D 820 @ 2800 Mhz / Ram 1024 Mb D.C was higher when I ran it at stock.

Evil-Rage: 31072 AMD FX-57 San Diego @ 2800 Mhz / Ram 2048 D.ch 200 Mhz 2-3-2-5 1T

EDIT: Evil-Rage: 31172 AMD FX-57 San Diego @ 2900 Mhz / RAM 2048 D.ch 194 Mhz 2-3-2-5 1T

W00T! After playing some more with the BIOS and learning what to do and what not to do (cuz then teh comp00tar don't b00t!) I was able to overclock a whole 100Mhz by upping the voltage to ~1.45! This is my first overclock, I'm gonna see if it's stable now (although much more stable than my first attempt, which bluescreened on the FPU test if I recall correctly)

What is the fastest score for MEM so far, and the RAM Brand/config.? I would like to know if changing memory can make it closer to AMD X2 3800 scores.

excuse me for the stupid question, but how am i supposed to specifiy what "modules" of the test i want to run. If i click on one of the buttons (cpu/fpu/hdd/...whatever)it runs all the tests. Its probably something really simple, but im too tired to figure it out😕

AkumaX: What's your Ram memory speed? 225Mhz, 200 Mhz??? and your Bios timings?
Try this: Reboot your system, unload every non essential program, load CrystalMark and wait 2 or 3 mins, then run MEM benchmark first. then FPU, then ALU.
Also verify with Prime95 that your CPU and RAM are working without any errors. For that purpose leave Prime95 24.14 blend test running for at least 6 hours. 12 or more hours is recommended though.

To all Pentium users: Is it normal that CPU-Z 1.30 does not show the Ram speed and timings???

I'll include your score in the comp once you test your system stability with Prime95 blend test.

Well, I don't know, I'd have to check every screenie...you can also do that!
But I´ve seen scores overpassing the 10.000 points in Mem if that helps you...

Anyone? Or am i supposed to just run all tests and then just take the ones that i want? Only reason i asked is because iv seen screenies with only selected tests being run..but i cant see and option anywhere to let me do that.

it should be as easy as clicking on the button like you said. click ALU, then FPU, then MEM, not necessarily in that order.

only when you click Mark, should it run all tests.

Thanks for a response finally! I unzipped another "crytalmark" package, and its working fine now. Dunno what was wrong with the other one, it was about 2am when i was trying to get it to work, so maybe i just kept pressing the mark button 😕

Something wierd must be going on with my PSU though, every time i run a stress test (aka prime 95) or even when running the cystal mark benchmarks, i acctually HERE my fans slowing down. Im guessing its voltage fluctuations. Iv prime 95'ed for 24hours with my x2 4400+ at 2450mhz, and nothing fails, but this is a bit worrying...

hey yah,

just found out ram speed was running a divider, but will check back after testing. bios timgs are 2-3-2-6.

i wouldn't have posted that unless i prime'd it first 😉 what's the point of benching an unstable system?

it's the motherboard that's doing it (asrock 775dual-880). it only reports its internal timings (not actual) using Everest, but says nothing else. Everest said it was running 1.5-2-2-5 when i was using DDR1 or DDR2 (its a hybrid board)

i'll try running MEM -> FPU -> ALU and i'll see what happens

Finally got a chance to try it.

Without a reboot (and Firefox and Outlook running 😱 )

Score: 45374

ALU: 16343
FPU: 18153
MEM: 10878

Specs:

A64 X2 4200 @ Stock speed (2.2ghz)
2x512mb OCZ Gold Ram (BH5) 2-2-2-10
Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939 (nForce3 Ultra)
X800XT AIW (AGP)
