Crysis Alien Trailer

Man, this blows. I want to watch it so bad but I hate spoilers. Who would release a trailer touting the game's ridiculous graphics and include end game spoilers??? I guess I'll have to wait 🙁.

It's not a 'spoiler' per se, as it doesn't have any narrative that gives the storyline away. The trailer just shows some different environments/enemies than what we've previously seen. If you already know what the premise of the game is it won't be too much of a surprise, but it will reveal what more of the game looks like.

While I understand your point of view, all this is doing is screwing with the marketing/buzz/hype schedule set by EA. The game won't come any sooner or later because of this.
 
If they don't want anyone to see it then they should pull it from there FTP site that everyone has access too!

I say keep it posted till they take down the vid!

Agreed, if they're dumb enough to keep the link active (we're talking about EA so I guess that's a given) then I say keep the link.

You guys wouldnt have a problem reading leaked benches of R600 would you.

I just watched the trailer and DAMN that game looks good. So, is Crysis still a DX9 game? or a DX9 with DX10 enhancements game?

If it's all DX9 then I am impressed.
 
Something tells me the chances of me playing this on a single card configuration @ 2560x1600 are nonexistent 😛

Okay boys let's get this game done and on the shelves - i've had enough watching videos, i'm ready to play! It's looking better all the time.
 
Unfortunately I dont think I'm going to be able to play this game at 1920x1200 with my X1900XTX.

I'm not prepared to buy a new video card for this game alone either.

Hmm... guess I'll have to wait for the 360 version.

Why do you have to play it maxed out at that rez anyway? You can turn it down a bit, it'll still be better than any 720p rez game... :disgust:

Crysis has as good a chance of being on 360 that Gears of War has on being ported to pc. errrrr wait.... nevermind

I guess you haven't seen this yet...

Gears of War a Lock for PC

Meanwhile, Crytek has stated that Crysis was always supposed to be a PC exclusive. EA might make another game in the same universe, kinda like Far Cry Instincts, but it won't be Crysis.
