...anyway, back to the file itself... Did anyone else notice the really bad aliasing in some of the scenes? That concerns me after the recent crop of games that don't support AA properly (GRAW, STALKER, etc...). I hope that isn't a trend that continues from truely AAA titles like Crysis.

a lot of the footage in that trailer was several months old.

I'm hoping that was the case, and that AA will be working properly on final release product. I just get worried with I see trailers of "HD games" with horrible aliasing.

Unfortunately I dont think I'm going to be able to play this game at 1920x1200 with my X1900XTX.

sorry if this is a noob question, but I thought you NEEDED a dx10 card to play this game. Will crysis really work on a dx9 card?

I think it's still a DX9 game.

QFT.
DX9 game, with a DX10 path. It will work fine with DX9, albeit maybe less some goodies that will be DX10 only.

Why does this footage not look as good texture wise as some of the stuff they were showing before??

hmm I was thinking the same.

Nothing more annoying (though this may not be the case here) then a game that is 2x late and .5x what it was supposed to be

Some of this footage is months to half a year old. You can tell because the arm of the nanosuit under the gun has this watch-like texture that's not there in current vids. This is work-in-progress footage I believe.

It's not as bad as Halo 3 though, where the current documentaries show off graphics that look like an HD version of Halo 2. Bungie said they are supposed to improve, and I'm willing to believe the same thing will happen with Crysis.
