Alcatraz didn't have any broken bones btw.. he was shot by the gunship that slaughtered everyone else after they escaped the destroyed sub..
so yes he may have ruptured lungs from the projectiles/lazers or whatever the gunship shot at them.
but he was healthy when he hit the surface.
and the rest of the story is absofuckinglutley retarded.
Should have stuck with a real believable enemy faction instead of contractors from our own country trying to kill the Military for the suit.

Uh dude go back and play the dead man walking chapter before you even try telling me he has no broken bones. He has broken vertebrae, and they said you could take your pick on which of his ribs are broken. If you watch in the beginning the alien ship comes up out of the water directly under him and throws him through the air.

Later cutscenes show prophet finding him laying ont he ground not in the water. He was thrown out of the water by the ship and landed somewhere hard. He is as the game says, "a dead man walking."

I swear I'm the only person who actually payed attention to the story in the game. Everything makes sense if you slow down your playthrough and gather the information instead of rushing through.
