Don't they ban you for pool hopping?

They haven't yet. They banned people who hopped as one massive pool because it was. Thousands of connections instantly hitting a pool all under one user account and was nearly indistinguishable from a botnet. This program just switches my own personal miner the same. Way I would if say the pool I was mining in had a really long round.

when you payout, do you directly send money to your mt gox, or do you guys hold it in your wallet for a bit?

also how long do i need to wait for my BTC to show up in my wallet? i pressed the payout button like 20 min ago...

that's the best way to prevent pool hoppers, hope pools start implementing it.

and if your machine decides to crash during time of mining for them what happens then? does this mean you dont get paid for your time mining or very little? does that sound fair if that is the case?

If your machine crashes while solo mining you have a 0% chance to find a block while your machine is non-functional. I don't see how the same would be unfair when it occurs in a pool.

TBH I haven't done a lot of research, but I've been told that slush's pool uses a method that makes it immune to pool hopping.

lol. coinotron sounds like a really lame transformer from the 80's. 'it's a coinsorter, no it's a robot, no it's both!'

can i haz ipawd too??

pool based in Poland, very new.

I have a question about crossfire:
I just bought a 5830 that only has 1 crossfire connector. I already own a 5850. I was thinking of buying another 5830 but could all three be crossfired?

I was thinking something like this:

5830
|
5850
|
5830

Using the 5850 as the middle card since it has the two connectors.
Would this even work?
I see most 5830 have the 2 connectors, it just appears the one I bought does not.

Well I am mining now and know not to crossfire for that. When I do play games would be when this comes into play.

Basically I mine and buy more video cards with the bitcoins to mine more. At some point it won't be profitable and then I plan on using them to power my Eyefinity setup.

I want to make sure to buy the correct card so I can do that later.

This market is too damn bipolar, I sold 10 coins this afternoon for $12.70, few hours later coins are up over $1 more at around $13.80, ten minutes later its back to 13.30. Just cannot win at this game.

i just lost a 5830 in a tri-gpu machine that was only a week old.. the other two are still crunching at bits... machine isn't even recognizing it.. RMA time.
