An actress blacklisted for attempting to get away from porn and into other roles? Seems petty and mean on the part of the Cruz campaign.

So they are trying to prevent her from earning a living? Do they want her to go on permanent public assistance?

I don't recall Republicans calling for the resignation of David Vitter when he was caught with a hooker.

This is a stupid assumption.

Cruz campaign hired a Company to do an add for them.
The contracted company makes a casting call and hires the actors.
The contracted company makes the video with the actors they hired.
When approved by the campaign the video gets on the air.

Cruz and his said campaign had nothing to do with the casting etc.

I personally don't have an issue with the lady at all. Who cares what she did in her younger life.

agreed. it's not a dirty trick.

I'm willing to bed that it happened just as you say.

I can understand why Cruz didn't want her representing him though. it's not the target audience he wants and you can bet a few would recognize her right off the bat.

I would think the real question might be which campaign has people sifting through all the details of such stuff to uncover any such thing to embarrass other candidates.

Fern

I had a similar thought. I suppose that she was not "outed" by her appearance, recognized by someone who watched the movie she starred in?

What is says Republicans don't want people they disapprove of to earn an honest living.

Whom else would they ban from employment? Oh yeah we know gay people for one.

LOL you are nuts.

They aren't banning anyone from employment. He has the right to have who he wants in his commercial.

He is running on a platform for religious nutcase's. If he allowed it to run and they found out the idiots would link it to him.

one of the few smart things they have done. It makes since.

I don't blame him in the least.

They wanted her because she was a good actress for the part. They didn't want her when the soft core porn thing came out. That means they would have denied her employment solely based on her past legal profession. You are correct they have a legal right to do it. I'm pointing its hypocritical to blacklist her when their own are allowed to keep jobs while soliciting hookers.

Maybe the Christian thing to do would have been to say she gave up porn and is now doing mainstream work so we gave her a chance.

she got paid so nobody denied her anything. She is free to continue to make commercials or porn so nobody denied her anything.

They just refused to run the add. that's it. she was still employed and paid.

oh and she ain't blacklisted..again she is free to continue to make commercials.

Not political commercials for the GOP. She was lucky no one found out before she was paid. They already indicated would not have given her the job if her history was known.

Again, GOP did not insist David Vitter resign.

Being a pron star seems to make you a bigger pariah in this country than a defrauding banker.
