The Crucial will OC higher, especially if run at CAS 6, though.
I'd get neither though.

The Crucial is D9JKH, not the infamous D9GMH.
So OCing isn't that good really.
Only real difference is that unlike PSC, it scales somewhat with voltage, so if you don't mind killing your Crucial, you can reach slightly higher speeds with CAS 6 it seems.
CAS 5 results aren't generally very good, so i'd prefer PSC or ProMOS-based kits as you can clock well without needing lots of killer voltage.

Hmmm, I've heard about the D9JKH and D9GMH, but how do I know which I have? I didn't notice it on my ram set, nor in CPUZ.
And what is this "PSC" and "ProMOS"?
Looks like I have the good stuff. 🙂Originally posted by: n7
If your Crucial is the 2.2v kit, it's likely D9GMH.
If it's 2.0v, it's likely D9JKH.
If the options are limited to those two kits, I'd buy the Corsair every time over the Crucial Ballistix.Originally posted by: blackrain
Which of these is better?
