I'm not even going to watch some dumb Youtube video but even if the premise is true - sure there are dumb people that will say yes to dumb shit and be ignorant. That's going to be true of any ideology. But more than half the GQP party thinks the 2020 election was stolen AND that january 6th was a false flag Antifa far-left staged event.

So seriously. Go eat shit. You are just another worthless GQP'er.

I wouldn't be surprised if OP is trying for a ban. The amount of low effort troll posts he is making has been turned up to 11 recently. Perhaps he wants to go out with a bang.

I read a bit of the quoted portion, and I got to the following part, which stood out to me...

It is a two-week crash course in why the United States — the country our rising elites hope to lead — is awful, and always has been.

That's the sort of thing that I see when people usually follow it up with remarks like "America is the best ever." It outlines what I think is a really big issue in politics that underlines what's effectively a cornerstone of some of the right: American Exceptionalism. It's the idea that you cannot criticize the country or its past without being labeled as someone that hates the country. This just... seems to disconnected from reality to me. Frankly, we're just a country led by fallible people, and with that, I would expect to at least see mistakes, or just outright poor decisions. Just like when we personally make mistakes in our own lives, we need to own up to them as a means to do better. We also need to own up to the mistakes that our country has made so we can be better.

So first off, the writer of the article is on drugs. Qanon is maybe the dumbest conspiracy theory ever. CRT is more akin to philosophical theorizing. It’s a ridiculous false equivalence.

I am reading about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_race_theory

CRT is loosely unified by two common themes:
Are these controversial statements after Georgia?

Not really on that, and many other topics, at least insofar as sometimes it’s correct. However, the people who practice CRT apply it to everything and manage to find white supremacy everywhere. CRT is against objectivism, liberalism, equality before the law, rationalism, and the general principles of the legal system.

It‘s a useful lens for analysis, but it’s not a set of iron laws as most of its proponents assert.

I know we’re supposed to comment on the topic at hand before meming the shit out of a troll thread, but fuck this. OP has no qualms with a White supremacist pushing white replacement theory on TV, but thinks the left pushing CRT in academia is the real issue.

Whatever clown.

Yesterday, OP learned about Critical Race Theory for the first time and of course learned about it from the perspective of how it must be a wrong thing for leftists to do and here's why.

Seriously though. The disinformation he spreads ... tries to spread.... REAKS of Q-ism, there is a definite editorial behind their collective narrative. This isnt some1 obviously, cause, brains, so where does it come from? Is there a "new" 8chan on the scene?
Where do the deplorable pig farmers go to water their snouts these days?
Its coming from there.

Carlson is running for President and has to build viewership. What better way than to offer free porn? He's following Donald’s lead in going openly-but-a-tad-short-of-full on racism: He described his argument as the so-called replacement theory, which is a core belief of white supremacists. Tucker's White Power Hour - "Every time you import a new voter I become disenfranchised" wah!

It's funny how determined they are to buy this bullshit and prove everyone right about conservative populism. The majority of his schtick is cultivating revanchist blame narratives, which aggregates and infantilizes his audiences. American malaise can’t be made all better by scapegoats and denial. People who buy this BS become tribal grumblers and fault-finders who overreact to reality and discomfort.

He's a multimillionaire with a national platform amplifying viewpoints that represent an entrenched status quo. Who is the "elite" if it's not him? An elite yuppie Klansmen born into a wealthy family, attended a private ivy league college, and got his job through his father's connections in television. And these people think he's protecting them.

I don't really know what "critical race theory" is, and I suspect the OP doesn't either (any more than right-wingers know what "The Frankfurt School" or "Cultural Marxism" is when they rant about it).

Is it just "academic analysis of the history and nature of racism in the US"? That would be my limited understanding of what the term means, and I fail to see how that is in any way comparable with a crazy entirely-evidence-free conspiracy theory about elites harvesting adrenal glands of children.

Yes, pretty much.

After all your bs you think anybody cares to try to have a reasonable conversation with you?? You are one of these people who will go out and find the most outlandish narrative and post it as if it is factual or as if it happens all the time......you cannot have a meaningful discussion with "s0me0nesmind1 because it is obvious that s0me0nesmind1 has no intention of ever listening!!

Oh, look, a victim of right wing propaganda.

Nice source from the OP, from wiki : During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Federalist published many pieces that contained false information or pseudoscience that was contrary to the recommendations of public health experts and authorities.[5] While ballots were being counted in the 2020 United States presidential election, The Federalist made false claims that there had been large-scale election fraud.

Perfect source for the OP. I'll assume they never corrected. That changes it from an error to complete bullshit.

Ahhh the good ol' attack the source instead of attack the argument. Time honored tradition of 6 year olds that don't know how to debate. Not surprising in the least, carry-on chip chip cheerio.

Are you under the impression that it is always wrong to point out the lack of credibility of a source? And you call others "6 year olds"? Grow up.

Your source didn't present an 'argument' it made factual claims.

When are you guys going to learn that the OP jerks off to trolling you all with silly threads that he never appears in again?
See, he came back to drop a couple fresh turds in this one, while conveniently not even attempting to engage anyone that bothered to treat him seriously :D

Please cite for me whom engaged me seriously that has a valid argument that I should engage with?

Yes, you "responded" to one by posting a video, woo.
I really should stop peeking in on P&N. 😩

Oh, please! There is no shortage of so-called religious beliefs about many things (e.g. creationism, literal interpretation of the sacred texts) that run contrary to what is knowable through the sciences (e.g. cosmology, evolution, geology, etc.). And exactly how does one decided what religious beliefs are "established"? The writer is squirming hard to avoid acknowledging that big chunks of most "established" religions include beliefs that qualify as conspiracy theories as he/she is defining them. On the plus side, it is refreshing to see any conservative writer acknowledging that QAnon is a conspiracy theory.

I have to think that the writer never attended one of the many parochial schools in this country. Their entire reason for being is to incorporate their religious beliefs into the curriculum and contrary opinions are certainly not welcomed.

Clearly the writer must think that he/she has solid proof that race and racism aren't currently important issues in this country. 😖 And that on this topic "mulitple opinions" are not welcomed and debate should be discouraged. It must a a "national concern" if even 241 people are exposed to a different opinion. 😵

Don't worry, I don't harbor any delusions that you're posting here out of intellectual honesty. It just tickles your taint to say dumb shit and watch people respond.

Good to see a bunch of white people telling black people what their kids should know about race:

Like I said, this is running rampant - and across the country schools are trying to take it up and add it to their agendas.
It’s amazing to me that without ever watching Fox News or other conservative media I can still tell what they are whipping their idiot followers into a frenzy about. Is there a new thing nobody talked about until a few months ago? Is it a terrible threat to America and our way of life all of a sudden? That’s your right wing media talking point.

No rational person gives a shit about critical race theory either way but now it’s gotten so bad that right wing groups are demanding teachers wear body cameras to ensure they don’t secretly teach any critical race theory.
