So who's excited about the upcoming Cricket World Cup?

It's taking place in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh (no Pakistan LOL!) so the number of viewers, at least for the all the matches India are in, will exceed 1 BILLION!

Can't wait! This time, as in 1983, India shall bring home the World Cup!

Feb. 19th, hurry up! 😀

They are an arrogant bunch; they have taken over Australia's status.

They are on top of the world after winning Ashes. When was the last time you saw Aussie's losing by an innings in 3 tests during a single series? They have earned the right to be arrogant. Among the top 4 teams only SA team is a bit modest IMO.

Not to mention the NOTW fiasco. I hope the PCB takes them to court after the ICC sorts out the mess.

So, you think Pak players and PCB are clean as a whistle? History proves otherwise. PCB in itself is massively corrupt, I am not sure ICC will take PCB's word for it. Even Imran Khan, criticized PCB for being corrupt. Zulqarnian Haider's incident even reinforces the notion that matches are being fixed.. and bookies are playing a larger role in cricket.

England is the 5th rank ODI team (the format for the WC). I really think tests are a better measure of skill but England is still 3rd and half their test players are not even in the ODI side. Sri Lanka on the other hand is ranked 3rd and 4th respectively. If any team other than Pakistan that I'd like to win is Sri Lanka.

To label them as guilty until proven innocent is bullying. To treat the PCB as a third class cricket board when it is a test playing nation is arrogance by the richer boards. But I guess ICC's hatred for Pakistan is explainable with the CEO and chairman of the ICC both of Indian origin. It's about time the PCB stands up for itself rather than taking all the dirt thrown at it.

Zulqarnain Haider had other motives. Firstly, it's been more than a few weeks and he hasn't made clear what he's talking about. Who is he scared of after "asylum." He's an idiot who doesn't really care about Pakistan. If was anything close to patriotic, he would not have left Pakistan to be a laughing stock. Let's not get about corruption in other countries. In India for example, Mohammed Azharuddin who was proven to have fixed matches is today a member of Parliament. Nothing as yet has been proved against the Pakistani trio and it's highly unfair to suspend players based on allegations. If it was an Australian or Indian player I'm sure things would have been vastly different.

Anyhow, I really hope there is a miracle and they win. Pakistan cricket and the nation itself need it.

With so much politics and money in cricket these days, I'm not sure I'm going to follow the World Cup. The Ashes were fun to watch but this world cup is going to be over-commercialized...

Pakistan team, like the rest of that nation sucks... its wont be that much fun this time. There is nothing like beating a strong beloved patriot team in world cup!!! its way better than actually winning it... Good old days of Imran Khan and Wasim Akram... But will still watch, thinking about getting the package. Last chance for Tendlya...

lol @ the haters...

India will win the World Cup this time around. The team is unstoppable. This will also be Sachin's crowning glory and I expect he will exit international cricket soon afterwards.
