eeeek! So close :( Next game, we should drop Sehwag and get Powar. He will probably do a better job anyways.

Sorry, I meant drop Sehwag and sent Powar in to open :) Also MAd_Indian is right; the guy needs some time to think his batting over because if he cant even get that right, he has got serious issues. Everytime he bats, I see the typical sehwag shot, flashing at the ball and no foot movement whatsoever. Frankly, if dropping him doesnt give him the hint then just keep him out.

The Indian Management is well aware of this & the are happy with what he delivers. Actually a statistic showed that Sehwag more frequently hits big scores in comparision with other reputed sensible batsmen and on his day he demoralizes the opposition. Anyway I felt that it would be a good move making him open in the one dayers but God he opens in the test and damn he does good.

But whatever apne najafgarh ka Jaat hai .. aur Jaaton ki tareh hi khelega !!

Could these dummies make iternaries that would help people in US watch matches. Damn I had to wake up ar 4:30 a.m. to figure out that Afridi was hammering Indians all over the place. Hope in the next game India bats first!!

so we lost this match in the first few overs.

Tendulkar and Sewhag all out in first few overs. Pakistan got the momentum going.

Again it was a good match. More balanced between bat & ball.

I thought the indian were right in it till razzaq/moeen got settled. I felt that indians should have attacked more (more aggressive field setting) when pakistan lost wickets. In the end they were never gonna be able to 'defend' the total. They had to get pakis out!

EDIT: i was up all night watching the match and now i gotta full work day ahead of me. Right now i would kill for some sleep! :p

yeah good match...at first it was a little shaky..I thought India would lose...but then it stabilized and we took hold.

What was the reasoning for Inzamam getting man of match (I missed Pakistan's batting)?? He looked pissed when the bowlers kept on giving us free runs!

Yahoooooooooooooooo !!
2-2 ..
Well this match was quite close till kaif and dravid hit the way out.
This was the first match that looked boring towards the end. Damn .. it look as Austalia thrashing bangladesh.
I think India has the best batting line up today. Inzi & party are making hughe scores against the week Indian bowling but the Indians are the ones kicked some a$$ in Aus. and now here !!
Boy o Boy .. shoaib bowls fundu

Inzi got a century in pretty good time.. 122 i think? anyway i guess that was a fair call considering that from the Indian side it was a more collective effort.

true. I slept htru the Pakistan batting inning so I dunno how they fared compared to our bowling.

I got scared when we started batting. the first 15overs looked bad for us.

Our bowling was terrific today. We bowled slower but put the ball in the right areas. I loved the fact that this was reflected in the manner we reached the target. Pakistani battting was not too good barring Inzamam and Hameed. Our fielding was awesome and I thought we started off well when we were bating as well. Shoaib was bowling insanely fast and was unplayable in his first aplce. Kudos to Dravid, Kaif and Yuvraj for some excellent batting. Also the number of extras conceeded by Pakistan once again proved decisive.

Watch Shoaib's arm in slow motion, I am positive he is a chucker... maybe that's why he always wears shirts with long sleeves...

While bowling, if your arm is slightly bent, its technically throwing or chucking.

simple logic.... had india LOST yesterdays match

the wednsday match would have been washed out.. No excitement....
who would compensate the PCB for the 100 s of crores they would loose in advertising... etc etc...

Now... 100 crore indians + whatever crore pakis are gonna be glued to the tv for 8 hrs on wednesday...

I don't believe that is correct. I think your arm can be bent while bowling, but only slightly, and it has to be like that for your entire bowling action. For example, it can't be straight and then suddenly bend at the last moment.

Just thought I would hijack this to mention New Zealand whipped South Africa once again. 5-1 in the one day games and now 1-0 up in the tests!
