I know this is going to be one hell of a series and the only winner will be the Pak-cricket board that seems to be collecting around $20 million just from sponsors and get out of debts.

Its live on dish I guess for $199 & you can get the whole thing on www.willow.tv for $69 except US. Damn people haven't got the deal with dish for US. I guess before the match they will get something done. So Internet watchers wait !!

I read a headline on espn.com that a boat containing cricket players and fans had sunk earlier today. Know anything about it?

They better have extra tight security to save from the fans from killing each other when the game is over :p

I heard the Indian team is gonna lose on purpose to ensure the safety of their players--if they were to win IN PAKISTAN the crowds might riot and swarm the field.

Sachin will never forget the first ball duck with that yorker Akhtar bowled & the Akhtar will take the six that Sachin smacked off him to his grave.
Time will tell if Akhtar rapes the India batter or the Indian's kick some ass. Lets wait and see my friend.

How about Lara getting a hatrick ?

haha.. nice..
i guess you're going to tell me Tendulkar was a better batter than Lara???

No I am not saying that. I think you just can't compare them. Both are gr8 in their own ways. I would out it this way Lara is the best left hander I have seen bat where as Ten is best righty. But I think the one basic difference is that Lara is a touch way too extravagant he will go for his shots any way and always plays an attacking game. Sachin on the other hand plays in spurts he goes outwordly dominating then he'll go back into his shell and be defensive.
Its a treat to watch both batsmen on song. They can single handledly destroy the opposition !!

I visited India recently. The Indians have been talking about this match for soooo long! The Indians sure know how to hype up the most trivial things in their lives, and Cricket is important, so you can imagine the anticipation. The whole country will close down--no surprise, as on any given day a section of India is shut down due to a holy festivity, strike or power outtage! ;)

Should be a classic for those who care. I don't btw. ;)

If you don't care, why take the trouble to post?

Atleast we know that a World Series Championship is conducted between different countries...

People are passionate about sports all over the world and cricket is popular in India and Pakistan. There was no need for you to take potshots at the fact that India looks, feels and behaves like a third world country - surprise, surprise! It is one
