their first album is pretty damn good! the rest suck ass though. They're so commercialized now. It's just cookie-cutter pop rock. They were much cooler when they were harder and the singer wasn't a damn babyface.

Yeah kinda makes me wish Creed would come back... I'm sick of the white stripes, the strokes, sum41, eve6 etc...BS :| I've totally gone to the point of not listening to modern rock radio to being stuck in the 80's (exception of Linkin Park and KoRn)

I'm not sure how thinking that a band sucks automatically makes you close-minded. If you don't like music, you don't like it.

Never heard of Cryptopsy or Deltron. Just listened to "Nothing" by Meshuggah... They are horrible! There is no singing whatsoever, just the guy yelling. (The video sucks even more.)

Meshuggah is not for everyone...but they are very talented. Nothing is a really kick ass album IMO. But, what I love you are entitled to hate. That's just the way it is...we can't all like the same sh!t...that would get very boring.

Hah, yeah, that's about the response I would expect. No point in dragging it out though; unlike some clueless people, I don't have any illusion that the music I like is somehow the "correct" music for everyone to like. Ok maybe I think that a little bit.

And there is no song called Nothing, that's their new album. Destroy Erase Improve is highly regarded as their best album, perhaps listen to that if you really want to. But you'll probably still be dissatisfied with the lack of anything but yelling.

edit: and if Meshuggah is too much mindless yelling for you, do NOT listen to Cryptopsy :Q
