First album... it's just amazing... I remember the first time I heard of them... this first album still sounds awesome... a true band! a true band!

Even though your taste in women sucks, your taste in music is good. 😛

😉

thanks 🙂 they are just awesome... i won't be able to hear the fedex guy unless i turn my volume down 🙂

hahahahaha, that's almost like saying "Britney Spears just never gets old".

well, does she? 😀

I'm sorry, their first album... kicks so much ass, but anything after that has gotten too soft for me to like.
I own both the first and second albums, and while I love pulling My Own Prison off the shelves from time to time, human clay has been collecting dust since about 2 months after I bought it.

And I think Scott Staph (sp) is a wanker.

Umm didn't they die out? He got over his angst towards his dad and has his own family. This guy has nothing to sing baout anymore. I just like 1 song.. Torn

However, since I am drummer...I would like to give HUUGE props to the bands drummer. That guy knows how to mix up some awsome beats. He doesnt play the regular beat over and over and over, he can rip it up nicely 😀

I loved their first album. It was a real rock album. But now, they seem to churn out bland radio hits for 15-year-old girls (My Sacrifice, Arms Wide Open, One Last Breath). Why don't they ROCK anymore?

creed sounds like a bunch of whiners
::with your arms wide opennnn:: <rips radio out of outlet and throws it out of window>

Arms Wide Open was on Human Clay. My Sacrifice and One Last Breath were on Weathered. Totally different songs on two totally different albums.

Well, when they already ARE old, they can't really GET old...

Three songs completely void of the integrity and raw sound off the first album. "What's This Life For" is what all Creed songs should sound like. If you can't tell a difference, you're not a true music lova.

Oh, and "Is This The End" is also a great song!

Pearl Jam wannabes, ten years too late.

I hate that comparison. Stapp has a baritone voice, as does Vedder, so the whole band sounds like Pearl Jam. I'm not a huge Creed fan, but their music is NOTHING like Pearl Jam. [See the above statement on telling the difference.]

I agree as well.

Even if their music was original, which it's not, I can't respect a man that appeared on the cover of spin, shirtless and wet.
