I don't think this has a compact flash card. It uses one of those new mini hard drives.

What's the usually shipping time? I assume the line is really really long. BTW, price back to 200.99

Yeah, it's nothing new, but this is cheaper than you can buy it for separately.

Guess I'll deal with my $160 1.5GB Lyra for a while longer...

Has there been any new reports of anybody using the current model of the Muvo2 for the CF drive? I heard from someone that they changed some pins on the drive so that it couldn't be used for other products..

I ordered one from Amazon, but it's not coming for a month.. which is fine since I can always cancel it =)

And I'll deal with my $369 20GB iPod for a while longer too... until Apple releases their 4th Generation iPod with a max "50GB of storage, 2 inch color LCDs, video out, photo display capabilities, and revised (Mini-like) navigation wheel." :D

With 50GB, you probably don't need MP3s. You could store 75 albums at CD quality.

Really...I think the "store a million, zillion, gazillion songs" sales pitch is getting out of hand...

;)

Anybody order from Amazon? What's your expected time of delivery? I won't get it until late April..!! I wonder if there's any truth to the rumors that the drives will be soldered on...

That was already known. Even if it's soldiered, can't u just bust out a soldiering gun and take the microdrive right out?
