To me it's also a clear indicator that she's not intelligent enough to be the president. Look what we got from George Bush.
So...what are you saying...people who believe in God are unfit to be President?

Of course. That's unequivocal.

Being an agnostic is one thing, but if you blindly believe that there is a god then you are too stupid to be president.

I guess you aren't voting for Obama then?

I'm not American mate.

Anyway, I'm a Libertarian.

But if I was, I sure as hell wouldn't vote for McCain. You've had 8 years of Republican rule and look what they did! If you vote Republican in November you're a retard. If the Democrate nominee was the devil you would still vote for him.

It depends what you mean by "neutral." Neutrality is fine when there's no consensus on a subject. But being neutral just for the sake of "giving all voices a chance" is absurd. Not all voices deserve a chance.

I've used this example several times before, but imagine how a "neutral" approach to the holocaust would play out. The class would present evidence for and evidence against whether the holocaust ever actually occurred, but would take no official stand on the subject.

And imagine a "neutral" class on slavery. A neutral class - during sex ed - on having lots of sex partners and out-of-wedlock pregnancies. A neutral class on drug use. A neutral class on terrorism.

Creationism will have a valid claim for equal time in the science classroom alongside Evolution when it can provide a comparable body of supporting scientific data. Absent such evidence, creationism is just a statement of belief, and is no more "science" than the claim that God exists is science.

When I say neutral, I mean laying out the facts as they exist without spin or bias. You'd have to spin pretty hard to make the Holocaust look justified.

WTF, most Americans believe in God so you are stating that someone who believes like them shouldn't be their leader? And you call them ignorant?

Is that a trick question? Americans are the most ignorant people on the planet!

That's like saying people who supports the Taliban arn't ignorant.

Just because it's popular, doesn't mean it's right.

Isn't it great that you are smarter than this guy?

First, I don't want creationism taught in school. Second, I don't know what Palin's personal beliefs are on this, but even if she supports it, she'll be holding the VP spot. McCain isn't going to force this, and if he croaks there isn't the national will to put this in place any more than there is to have you forced to sit in church, which to contrary straw man thinking, doesn't exist in reality either. In other words it isn't happening in the most lovely and paranoid delusional scenarios.

You and me both mate.

No offence though. Most Americans I've met have been nice. Stupid, but nice.

Except this dude I met from Montana.

How so? Most people who believe in a God here in the states have it as a personal belief. Sure there are the Fundie loons but even they aren't anywhere as radical as the Taliban.

BTW I'm an Atheist myself.

I'd much rather put a creationist VP in the white house than a black separatist president.

While i dont think the two are mutually exclusive, I was taught I.D. at Church and Evolution at public school. I am a big fan of both of them. Public schools should not teach the earth is 6000 years old.

Of course not. I'd prefer someone that is a hardcore RTS fan to be President, more fitting.

Hell, you guys used to be the greatest county on the planet!

I used to love America before Bush came to power. You're still a great nation of great people but if you had been born in a different country your attitude would be different.

Actually, what you havent figured out yet is that I'd vote for anyone who lines up with my conservative beliefs. Its not about republican or democrat, moron. You, on the other hand, tow the party line as much as possible.

Yeah, no shit.

My point is that if you weren't born in such an intrasigent nation you wouldn't be pulling this whole "If that's what they believe then thats fine" attitude. No. If you believe something that is retarded someone needs to pull you up on it. And someone who believes something that has no evidence should not be able to be prez.

Let me get this straight, according to you prior to Bush becoming President it was OK for a religious person to become President?
