Creatine and Cramps !!

Hey guys, my first post. I've been working out off and on for a year or so, until 4 months ago when i took it a bit seriously 🙂

I had done creatine in past, however issue i always had was that my body would be all cramped up, and even tough it was kina helping w/gains, but i just would'nt recover as fast as it would w/o using creatine.

Just wanted to see if ya guys had any experience w/it and any thoughts what could i be doing wrong.

BTW i tried creatine powder mixed w/grape juice. I even tried cell tech; but it was'nt any different.

Any thoughts, ideas and help would be highly appreciated. 🙂
 
Creatine has never been shown to cause muscle cramping.

Most likely you have taken creatine during periods where you decided you were going to "get back into shape" and were doing higher intensity activity than you were accustomed to/trained for.

Muscle fatigue and poor conditioning for the task at hand => cramping.

websk8r, the two things that seemed to help me out from getting bad leg cramps while working out were drinking plenty of water, and making certain you get enough potassium in your diet. Hope it helps! 🙂
