Not as bad as it could have been down here. About 2.5" of rain, coastal and local flooding, nothing too awful. At least it wasn't snow and ice. A few degrees colder and it would have been a lot worse.

Damn! lol. It's not that bad here so far. Maybe a few cm but it's blowing all over. I just hope we don't get any rain, that's what really messes up everything since it turns into an ice crust and it makes it hard to shovel or snow blow, or clear the car, or pretty much do anything. I opted to not leave the house today, didn't really feel like dealing with clearing the car. It's suppose to continue through tomorrow so may as well wait till it's done. So far this is not any different than a normal snow fall, but I'm just tired of snow.

Northern Wisconsin, we were in the bullseye for the storm snowfall.

It was an absolute mess here today. Everything was covered in ice. Several freeways ended up being closed, lots of accidents and cars in the ditches. Took 4x as long to get to work. Oddly enough schools were still open (I saw two school buses stuck in the atrocious traffic with me).

The weather is normally something we see so everyone was surprised at how bad the roads were (hence the lack of school closings). I think we're just all used to MDOT taking care of the roads but apparently 90% of their trucks got converted to road patching so almost none were out salting the roads.

Still coming down here too but not as hard. I didn't go out to clear any of it but I need to go out today so I'll have to. Suppose I should get on that.

We got less than 1/4" of snow Sunday night, then about 1.5" of rain on Monday. It's all gone now. Currently 47F and sunny.

Ugh just realized this is the nasty type of snow. Super wet and heavy and sticky. I just got finished clearing the driveway. Even with the snowblower it was lot of work.

Bonus is I smell like fuel now. That's the best smell ever!

there still 1000's of people in Ontario without power since Saturday.

The OPP (Provincial Police) state there were 1450 non-fatal crashes during the storm.

That was a pretty epic storm system that pounded us.

EDIT: lots of school closings and bus cancellations today in our area.
