what the heck were u doing in the desert w/o water?

one of the 1st things I do in Vegas is stop at Walmart and buy a case of water

Definitely learned that. I remember being at an after hours club in Vegas and they wanted $12 for a small bottle of Fiji. I just tipped the girl $20 and she gave me free water the whole night.

king crabs, lobsters, USDA Prime steaks, ahi tuna, scallops, sea bass, etc are not cheap. It costs money to eat like a king. And supermodel wives and girlfriends like gifts like jewelry even if it's from Costco.

But then they want matching earrings and ring. So you buy that too. Then they ask for Tahitian pearls. So you have to buy the entire set of that. And so on. Good thing Costco don't carry expensive handbags and wallets.

More power to ya brother. If giving your woman big jewels keeps her happy then good for you. I give my woman something else, it too is big and hard, and it keeps her happy without all the cost.

Sunday freebees are no go for me. I can't get close with all the Indian families hogging the sample areas. They park their carts right in the middle of the aisle and feed their whole families.

Wow. Racist much?

I'd like to point out my Costco has people of all colors doing annoying shit, so, yeah.
Theres that.

Always thought the cost of paying a membership fee just to use a store is kinda odd. It's kinda like the hydro company that charges you an arm and a leg in fixed fees even if you don't use any power, I guess.

I've been to a Costco once, it was pretty neat. Just crazy how huge that place is and how everything is huge. For someone that's single it's probably not worth it but I guess for a big family it is.

I am shocked that they don't raise prices much more than what they are going to do.
The other day, I was in there, and tons of people are there just for the freebies/samples.
What is worse is, some of them grab multiple samples, and stay there, and keep eating.

Saw multiple families just pig out on the pizza, steak & candy carts. It was insane.

I got the membership because of the tires. I had a bad experience with NTB.

plus the savings on gas is worth more than the membership fee.
but if your Costco doesn't have a gas station, then yeah, I can see how its not worth it for a single person.

Has anyone downgraded from executive to ghetto level membership>

I did but also because Costco has gotten less valuable for us. We moved farther away so we've only gone once so far this year. My company also tied into some pretty big rental car contracts so using my work travel portal is usually right around the lowest costco prices I've seen but includes insurance, up to 9 drivers and National car which is way better than anyone else

My renewal isn't until the fall. But Costco must have heard my complaint because some Costco locations in GA have started carrying this:

This is a game changer and Costco has won back my loyalty with this one single move. Other areas of the country always had prime packer brisket but never GA. Now I have access to cheap prime brisket. It's something Sam's Club can't provide me. They only carry choice packer. To the credit of Sam's, the choice packer is 22 cents /lb cheaper at Sam's than Costco.

They do but why would you want the flat? Prime flat is around $4.89 /lb but most Costco locations only carry the choice flat for $4.69 /lb. What are you going to cook with tiny 3 pound flat brisket?

You don't need expensive brisket flat to do that. You can buy cheaper chuck roast for under $4 /lb. And you'll get more meat with the chuck roast since there isn't much fat to trim. $5 /lb will get you top sirloin steaks. Top sirloin vs brisket flat for the same price? I'll take top sirloin every single time.

For what you want to do, it's far better to buy pork picnic at $0.99 /lb, pork butt bone-in at $1.19 /lb, or pork butt boneless at $1.89 /lb. Any of the three options would be million times better than wasting prime brisket flat in a slow cooker covered in bbq sauce.

Today is the last day before membership prices go up by a whopping $5.
