Crank is definitely worth the rent

This movie is not worth it to own. But it feels like a third person shooter video game from start to finish. It beats the transporter series hands down. If you have seen Run lola Run watch this. Definitely worth the 1 time watch. But after it is over you'll never want to watch it again.

I'd say to many it's worth owning.

It is very entertaining 🙂

I'd watched it twice now. Still entertaining the second time 🙂

ill admit this movie is a guilty pleasure for me because i viewed it as it was intended: a mindless action flick with bits of humor sprinkled in.

not to mention i give credit for somehow working in harry nilsson's 'everybodys talkin' and jefferson starships 'miracles' into an action movie.

People are saying it's worth buying on Blu-Ray.

Blood-wise is it very graphic? I'm not really into that.

Not at all. Some scenes but very limited. I found it as the best action/comedy since rush hour. I laughed at pretty much every scene even though it probably wasn't filmed to be funny.

Netflix'd it and I have to say that this was one of those rare few movies where I really had to struggle to not shut off halfway and admit defeat. Didn't find it particularly funny, and the action was fairly weak. I guess to each his own, though.

Did you make it to China Town?
I think of it as the best comedy I've seen in a while

Yeah, not bad. Very "in your face".

But poor Amy Smart....she must be having a hard time finding work if she agreed to play this part.

Yes, I made it through the whole movie. It was amusing at times, but never funny. And the action was really pretty lame. Guess I've moved away from Grand Theft Auto as my video game of choice, which this movie really seemed to echo.

Personally I found the action weaker than the Transporter series. and the ending was kind of anticlimactic

*****SPOILERS******

Uh, it was quite graphic. People lost hands (complete with spurting stumps) to meat cleavers, had hands run through sewing machines, headshots with cherry pie splattered on the wall, a guy falling on a grenade, ect.

It wasn't the Omaha Beach scene of Saving Private Ryan with guys having their guts spill out, but it certainly wasn't full of sunshine and daisies.

A fun, mindless action movie with a semi-antihero badass character a little like Mel Gibson in Payback. Definitely worth a rental.

holy crap I just watched this movie ...

this is one of the worst movies I've ever watched and not turned off. i should have gone with my feelings of turning it off, but i kept waiting for it to get better because of how many people said it was a good movie.

this is DEFINITELY one of the worst movies i've ever watched to completion. it is just so ridiculously over the top that it ruins the movie. there are about 50 different places in the movie that it was just so over the top that it was stupid.

i really wonder about the opinions of people on these forums 🙁
