Netflix'd it and I have to say that this was one of those rare few movies where I really had to struggle to not shut off halfway and admit defeat. Didn't find it particularly funny, and the action was fairly weak. I guess to each his own, though.

I'd second that

I do not understand the earlier reviews here. How anyone could sit through it let alone enjoy it is beyond me. The story is stupid, the humor is forced, and the 'acting' is terrible. I turned it off when he said, 'Time to kick some black ass!'. I don't turn off many movies but this one is flat out UNWATCHABLE.

Hey Jason, please stick to roles like 'Snatch' because you suck as an action character!

Edit: Yes, I bumped this thread because that's how much I hated this movie! 😛

If you didn't like Crank, stay away from the two Transporter movies then. And Jean Reno in Wasabi.

They were all great if you like over the top action movies, but apparently many people here don't.

I thought 'Transporter 2' was really bad, then I rented 'Crank' and realized how truly bad an action film can be.

I like Jean Reno (great role in 'The Professional') so I'm glad you spared me from renting Wasabi.

transporter 1 was great, way better acting then crank. the scene with the car on the escalator was retarded and badly done. that being said, there should have been more skin seen of amy smart

I saw it last night and agree it's worth one good watch. I loved The Transporter and thought the second one was "OK".. but this was a pretty cool action flick that falls in between the two of them.

i heard it was dumb i still might pick it up though

it is absolutely horrible.

Transporter 1 was decent. Transporter 2 was flat out corny and the action was way over the top and the movie turned out to be pretty bad.

Crank is so bad that it makes Transporter 2 look like it should win a bunch of Academy Awards. I wish I had turned it off at the 4-5 times I almost did but instead ended up giving it a chance. I waited for it to get better.

It just got worse and worse, and the end is just so bad I had to put my head down in shame that I had sat through he film ... 🙁

It wasn't too bad. Although I think I was playing a game and watching it at the same time 😛.

Oh and National Lampoon's Pledge This!is by far worse than Crank ever will be. I actually sat watching the prior without playing a game at the same time... 🙁.

It was ok. But I wouldnt watch it twice, and I definetly wouldnt own it.

I put it in my Netflix Queue because of the feedback in this thread. Saw it last night and .... yeah. That's my one and only viewing.

This movie rocked, one of the best action films in a long time. Id recommend to own, and definetely to rent.

I like when he asks that guy if he has the c word on his forehead and it's appears there.

Might be a long shot, but could you tell me around when that scene happens? Like is it 20 minutes into the movie or more like an hour? Or do you know who he said it too if you can't remember when it happened? Anyone who knows this please respond as I'm at work and don't have the means of scanning through it.

that scene is about 70 minutes in to it I think.

I thought it was a boring, disturbing movie that was drawn out way too long... the only parts I enjoyed were the ending and the china town scene for pure humor.

I'm almost embarrassed for it to appear on my Netflix history... a constant reminder of my youthful indiscretion.

holy crap I just watched this movie ...

this is one of the worst movies I've ever watched and not turned off. i should have gone with my feelings of turning it off, but i kept waiting for it to get better because of how many people said it was a good movie.

this is DEFINITELY one of the worst movies i've ever watched to completion. it is just so ridiculously over the top that it ruins the movie. there are about 50 different places in the movie that it was just so over the top that it was stupid.

i really wonder about the opinions of people on these forums 🙁

You should.

There are alot of people here that think the boondock saints is the better than The Godfather.

Boondock Saints was also a horrible movie IMO.

I saw the clip where he is boning that chick out in public while everyone is gathered around.

Now see, you said this, and IMDB says that Amy Smart was in the movie. Interest has been piqued.

Huh, seems an old thread has been revived. Yeah well, it's Amy Smart related, so it's alright.
