Im using a Gigabyte SINXP1394 Motherboard with a Celeron 1.7 CPU with a Thermal Electric Cooler cooling the CPU and a heatsink and fan cooling off the TEC. But for some reason the system runs fine in Idle running at about 20C or below (Lowest so far is 14C right after booting it up one day). Anyways for some reason anytime i load up anything that use's 100% of the CPU the Temp goes up to 74C in about 3 mins and stays there. When i minimize or even change to a different window the CPU temp starts dropping down and will reach down to 30C to 40C over a bit of time. When i close the program using the CPU the temp drops back down to 20C to 30C in a matter of seconds. Also i have BIOS set to Alarm when the CPU temp goes over 70C but it never does go off. Any one know why my CPU temp would go up and down like that. Even when i minimize or change to a different window under task manager it still shows the programs using 99% of the CPU but the CPU temp keeps droping.
