Update from the Anti-Vaxx Family Antics, episode 12: The Hydroxychloroquine Concoction.

I feel like my relatives are living their own little Covid sitcom. None of them have been vaccinated. So tonight I learn that my nephews wife is back in the hospital and they think she has a blood clot. One of the after effects that covid recoveries can experience. She had the covid last month with a fever, sore throat, bed ridden. Then she got better but still very tired and washed out. Her hubby (my nephew) was also getting over his bout with covid but he had more of the lung thing. He got better but complains that he can no longer take his daily walks due to shortness of breath. They are both in their early 40's.

I learned of this latest news from my sister, another anti-vaxxer, and the mother of my nephew. So with hearing this news I thought an opportunity to convince my sister to get vaccinated. But she says ""NO, I'M GOING TO TAKE THE HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE CONCOCTION."" I replied WHAT??? Well.... seems her daughter (my Niece) who is a huge Q-er, has mixed up some Hydroxychloroquine concoction that she got from one of her QAnon websites. A mix of Hydroxychloroquine and honey and all kinds of shit. Oh, and it can be frozen for later use. ;)
My niece, I was told, has been mixing and drinking her Hydroxychloroquine concoction every day for over a week now. And she wants her mom (my sister) to start drinking it too.

I just don't get it....
WHY for gods sake mix up and drink some Hydroxychloroquine concoction that someone unknown to them posted on a QAnon website when they could just get the vaccine from someone the know and can touch, A REAL DOCTOR. They don't trust the government, they don't trust Joe Biden, they don't trust Dr Fauci, nor do they trust any vaccine but they will trust some unknown person posting treatment recipes on QAnon websites mixing Hydroxychloroquine with all other kinds of crap. And they willingly drink it. Covid vaccinations, no.... But covid witches brews from mysterious shadows lurking on QAnon websites....??? SURE, WHY THE HELL NOT?

Time to buy a black suit.... :rolleyes:

Yet another Florida anti-mask official dies. Gregg Prentice, who led the Hillsborough County Election Integrity Committee, died suddenly from Covid on 9-11. Apparently he went to the hospital and was intubated. A friend has suggested that the hospital killed him. To make matters worse Prentice was the only person who knew how to enter election information in their computer system without doing it manually. He never shared the programming knowledge with anyone, so Hillsborough County will be inputting that information manually for a while.
"Along with others in the Hillsborough County Election Integrity Committee, Prentice was a vociferous critic of the vaccine, mask mandates, and COVID-prevention measures. He railed against top infectious-disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, vowing in a Twitter post to “end Faucism.” He also insisted the U.S. needs “more socialist distancing than we do social distancing” and that the pandemic was created to destroy small businesses.
A spokesperson for the Hillsborough Republican Executive Committee has reportedly said that Prentice’s wife and daughter have also caught COVID-19."

Edit: Actually, per capita, that's not that bad. NJ was the highest at ~350/100,000, but Florida may have passed that rate by now.

Look closely @ the pics posted there (Portugal's daily updates) and pay special attention to the top middle section, slightly to the left (and check @ least 2 pics): that's our counties cases per 100K people averaged during the week that ended on the listed day. Slightly more than 350 per 100K people ...

When i referred to it as "nothing short of catastrophic" earlier, it wasn't "a figure of speech" ...

This could be a good thing.
Anyone who doesn’t believe in COVID or refuses to believe vaccination is a better choice than MAGA treatments plus designed a secret vote counting program and they will not divulge the code shouldn’t be trusted.

These updates are crazy! I can't imagine there are like millions of people just like this. It's good to know that. Crazy is the enemy.
