AFAIK, I have not been infected by covid-19. I have not felt sick in any way since November 2019. Isolating myself was easy, living alone and making friends with a woman who shopped groceries for me. Once vaxxed, I was more adventurous but even now if I'm indoors with others (out and about) I'm N95 masked. Also, I've had all 9 covid-19 jabs available to me. My immunity is likely by virtue of those shots, period. I suppose I've encountered some covid-19 virions but don't attribute my resistance such as it is to my reaction to them.

Maybe but 2 weeks before I was doing a DIY project that required lifting 60 lbs bag of thinset cement up some stairs. After Covid.. I was so fatigued I dropped my groceries on the ground and was winded walking up those same stairs.

That part of the covid really sucked and it stuck around for forever.

Shit sounds like it shot out your lungs ... Complete recovery?

edit: always pondered how much scar tissue such an infection would leave on the lungs, diminishing capacity and so forth .. IIRC we're born with like 50% over capacity so we got some spare to break off from, wonder if pneumonia subtracts from that like smoking do.

After 2 years I'd say 80%. Not completely sure about full recovery but I doubt it.

Maybe in the future but I'm just glad to be where I am am now compared to before.

Same. I took all the COVID shots and booster every year, and have not had COVID. I am more careful because I have a family member that takes immune system suppressing drugs (also hasn't had COVID).
