One thing is to write a song, another thing is to sing someone elses songs...

Never ever Jorn Lande could be better than D.Coverdale, even, most of songs in early Whitesnake were written mostly by Bernie Marsden....
 
You guys are naming off some pretty interesting cover songs. I have a lot of listening to do! I still can't shake the fact that I didn't know Tori did a Nirvana cover. I think I may have been living under a rock somewhere in the Sahara 🙁

I'm going to have to highly disagree with you on this. I'm not really sure what you're getting at with the singing someone else's songs bit, because the nature of a cover is that you sing a song someone else does. I'm talking singing quality. Coverdale gets better highs, but Jorn gets damn near close and maintains more of a melodic tone without sounding like he's screaming.

Marilyn Manson - This is Halloween (from The Nightmare Before Christmas). Best. Cover. Ever.

Marilyn Manson actually has quite a few covers that are really good. Sweet Dreams, Personal Jesus, Tainted Love... The guy knows how to play other people's music real well.
