Hello, Im hypn0tyze...new member
. I frequent the dslr forums if it matters
.
Anyway here is my problem. Lately, games have been locking up on my system in mid play or intros. I tried EVERYTHING in bios, and every update but nothing worked. Btw system is a 2.4B ghz northwood 768 pc2700 ddr on a epox 4g4a.
SO i decided to reinstall windows. Now here is the problem: On first boot, BIOS and windows did not recognize my I drive, that I used for storage (120gB). So i check the cables and notice one pin is half the size of the others and bent.
To sum it up, I fixed it, got the drive recognized..well sorta.
. When i boot, i get a bios error "no 80 conductor cable installed." Anyway, i continue into windows and go to disk manager...I see a D drive, that has ~30 GB partition, and 85GB of UNALLOCATED space.
Now note this drive is crucial, as it contained all my important documents, etc. Before i reinstalled windows i had 30gb free on the drive...could that be the 30 its showing?
Anyway, when i try to access this D drive it asks me to format :/. Something like this also happened last time i moved this hd, and i clicked "import drive" or something like that and it worked (cant remember now). How can I get my data (unallocated black bar) back? Atleast i got it back up, but my data is CRUCIAL to me. Thanks for the help, in advance
