Have you taken care of a dog? It is a step above that. Can you handle a dog?

Don't turn it into more than it truly is.

It's WAY more than owning a dog. I feel sorry for your child if you truly treat it that way.

As a person who owns a dog and has an 18 month old son, this is laughable.

I am beginning to think more and more that Shadow9d9 is actually living at home and his 'rents are doing most of his heavy lifting.

His posts make absolutely no sense.

On the other hand, how about people who wait till they are in the 30's or 40's before they have children, and if their children do the same, they may die before they ever get to see their grandchildren.

My parents were both 30 when they had me.
I was 32 when we had my son.
My parents were 62 when my son was born.

Most people are living to at least 80 now. They would see their grandchildren in that case.

Of course this is another Shadow9d9 pet peeve since he miraculously had his own kid at 26, he deems anything older than that is being selfish as a parent to be.

I don't think kids come in to this world needing anything else, but love and proper care. For many they seem to believe the 'parent' that is only doing a little more than raising a puppy has to be young and fit at their graduation so their bros and hoes can give some mad props to young mom and pops.

You can't exactly hide a pregnancy... It also would have spread like wildfire because of how rare it would have been.

Unless you happened to live in some miracle outlier-ville where all the teenage girls are sterile, or graduated well before 1990, your class should have had a dozen pregnancies (on average), and that's only from 15-19, there would probably have been some earlier too

My area is worse than most, but it's not exactly an isolated problem, either.

You never had a child and never raised a child.

And no, buying toys for your fellow adulterer's mostly grown children does NOT count.

You may want to look in the mirror bro. She's probably gotten laid more than you as well with your angry attitude.

"Bro"? Haha!

What do you want me to do, "bro", give you a number of sexual encounters in order to prove myself to some internet loser? Hahaha!

You are hilarious.

Could you give us some more completely made up assumptions to attack people with? It doesn't make YOU look like the angry one at all!

That is textbook projection. YOU are the one that made things up in order to randomly attack people on the internet.. then you have the nerve to call THEM the angry one! Brilliant!

If you can't even imagine having your own kid at 28, I'd venture to say that you live a very childish existence...

Ooh, harsh. Nice to justify ones own lifestyle choices by attacking those of random folks on the internet. :whiste:

For the record, nobody in my family has had kids until their 30s. It would be very irresponsible for me to have a child now since I don't have the financial resources for it.

Did you even read the thread? I was referring to the responsibility level of someone who "can't imagine" having kids at 28. I, in no way think anyone should ever have to have kids. I think most people aren't made for it, to be honest. I even clarified what I was referring to later in the thread. Perhaps you should read the entire thread before responding next time.

I'll even quote myself from this thread- "He doesn't have to WANT to have kids or to HAVE kids... but that isn't what I interpreted him as saying. I interpreted him as saying that he wasn't responsible enough at his age to even consider it."

Well, if I "got rid of" my dog, even cruelly, I don't expect more than a few years in jail. Try the same with a baby and, if you make it to prison before you get vigilante'd, it's probably 25 to life or death.

So, what is legal in one country is equivalent to level of responsibility? In what wacky world does our legal system equal any amount of logic?

Hell, drug possession can get you more jail time than most thing.. I guess drugs are the devil?

Millions of people do that every year, and it is legal to do so.

Yes, I went there.

Hey, OP.

You should post some super cute baby pics since we're apparently paying for him (or her).
