I was selling something on ebay, and then this guy called Vince won my item.
Only then he found out that this is not what he wants, he agrees on paying me the list fee and the fee associated with it. Then he found out that I am good with computer and blah blah. Here is the thing,

He claimed he owned a casino down at Puerto Plata, and he would like me to build a top of the line computer for him. He lives in Miami. The thing is he said he would spend
about $5000 on building it, and I would not use any money out my pocket, he would either purchase it and send it over or send check if I need to buy something in advance.

Now, we talked on the phone and stuffs, he wants the BEST out there, regardless how much it is and want me to consider that as I have a unlimited money in my checking account... could this be real as a job ? or am i getting myself into some kind of unknown trouble and etc ?

Point 1. He would buy the parts and send it to me , or I can send him the link and he will buy it and send it to me. No money involved on my part

Point 2. He lives in Miami, but work in D.R. Has an ebay account with 146 positive rating, 0 negative feedback. Email matched with his ebay account

UPDATE
Here is more info that i digged out ..

I found this article while doing a search for his name . Article about Vince all the way down..

Sounds fishy to me. This guy can pick up the phone book and get dozens of reputable places that build pc's. Heck, he could even pick up the phone and call Dell. So, why he is interested in entrusting his money to a stranger with no credentials is beyone me.

just make sure the checks clear before you do anything

on his ebay ID, he has about 146 100% feedback, email and everything matched correctly.

ever heard of hijacked accounts?

dude, this sounds really fishy... don't let your greed get the best of your judgement. Tell him to send the checks, wait for them to clear and THEN start buying parts.

wtf, the point of getting alienware in the first place is to avoid having to do the installation yourself. If you're going to "transfer" the parts, why not just order everything from newegg and profit even more?

haha yes, he first built an Alienware , and cost about 7.3k with about $1500 in rebate from Alienware.

Then he thought if I can build it, then we can get the best part out there and maybe it would be less than Alienware.

WTF? Why would a casino owner fuss over a few grands and waste hours dealing with a stranger to build a computer.

I have to agree with this. Something does not sound right.
