Hope you can give them away.

Many people lost their jobs so many pets have been put out due to it. Try to find good homes and work fast as the new puppy look wears off fast for many.

Wow I always thought big male little female breeding was dangerous. But your dog did great. Of course like dr pizza has stated a small male breed can impregnate anything. :p

Fair price IMO would be at most $100 to cover your expenses. They aren't purebred. People who take them IMO are doing you a favor.

They ain't unclassified mutts though, so that's pretty good. They're purishbred.

Find em homes fast!

BS they are mutts and a mutt is a mutt. If you can get $50 out of them with all their shots you are doing good. You can go to the pound here and pick up a dog with shots and fixed for $60. Get your dogs fixed to keep this from happening again.

Nothing wrong with mutts. Two of my three dogs are mutts and they came from the pound for $60 fixed and with shots :).

May just get flagged off for letting your dog breed even if you list them for free. If you can get $50 out of them with all their shots you are doing good. mutts are actually genetically healthier than purebreds. i know this firsthand with a diabetic dog.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean you can expect to turn a profit by breeding them. The longer you have them the harder it is going to be to get rid of them. Do the dogs a favor and just give them away to loving homes. I doubt you will want to care for them, and if they get to be more than a few months old people aren't gonna want them at any price.

That isn't always true either though. A mutt can be healthier than the two pure parents or it can pick up problems from both. Putting two different kinds of badly bred pure dogs together isn't going to get you healthy well bred mutt puppies.

The thing is that there are people really interested at work. I'd like to at least cover the $600 the c-section cost.

If I could, I would keep them all. I <3 critters!

I have to agree...
But he's going to want to get the money he's spent on shots back out of it at least.

He will be lucky to get his money back for shots. Way more puppies than people that want them out there.

First, make sure they're going to good homes. I would charge $60/each, enough to get your dog spayed afterwards.

This X 1000

OP, you're not getting $100 for them. Just give them away and pay for the spaying & C section, yourself. It's your fault your dog got knocked up and there are 5 more dogs in the world. Do them a favor and find good homes for them ASAP, or they will end up with short, shitty lives that end in lethal injection.

Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that people don't "buy" mutts. They just pay for medical fees and get the dog for free. Any money requested should be directly tied to the medical bills, or people will balk.

They are only 2 days old. They aren't ready for homes yet!

And I honestly thought it would be physically impossible for the lab to knock her up. She's only a couple inches off the ground.

The vet had to remove her uterus when they did the c-section, so she is fixed now.

I'm always amazed at how much anger ATOT holds. Why are you all getting so worked up over this?
