They are the best hotdogs available nationwide. There are better (and far worse) local ones. Also, see this better link. Not only is it 100% beef, it is 100% GOOD beef. No lips. No testicles. No anus meat here! You can't say that about many other brands.

But still, Costco is a ripoff on that deal. Soda and a hot dog are 75 cents max at a grocery store. I suppose it is a few cents for toppings, if you need toppings. Yes, you don't have to do any work, but you have to drive all the way to a Costco.

$1.50 for a 20oz soda and a polish sausage isn't a bad deal.

Went to Costco w/ a roommate and ended up spending over $300 on mostly food. And no, I didn't get 200 hotdog/soda combos.

Then from that comparison, eating out for anything would be a rip-off. Weak rant.

In my experience, if you don't spend enough, they turn you around when they check your receipt. So...in order to save the time of standing in the line again, just spend the minimum $100 before you try to leave. (sometimes, it seems like the minimum has gone up to $200 or even $400)

WTH are you talking about, I spent $16.99 on my cake and walked in and out no issues at the line or anything. Is my sarcasm meter broken or something?

The bad thing about these places is everything costs at least 10 bucks. You grab 10 things in 3 minutes and spend 100 bucks.

I do, all the time. Unlike the OP, I don't buy stuff from Costco if I didn't go in w/ a shopping list.

Thats why you buy the kirkland batteries. They are also duracells just with a kirkland label. The old store brand batteries at wal-mart were energizers. I don't think they sell them anymore, but i don;t shop at walmart much either.

Rip-off? No work, ready to eat, and free refills for $1.50?

They were Rayovac batteries, $9.99 from Target. I do like Kirkland products no doubt. I just happen to walk by some Duracells that were on the way to pick the cake up and noticed hey I paid less then that for the batteries I bought.
