Corsair CL3 VR 2x512MB (purchased 2 weeks apart) $49.98AR
PNY CL3 512MB $19.99AR + Kingston CL3 512MB $17.99AR = $37.98AR

Including tax and stamps, that's under $56/GB average.

yup... just got 2x512MB of Kingston PC3200 for $36 + tax... amazing prices

Edit: BTW, I've been watching this ram, the Corsair 1GB kit DDR2, and the 2GB kit Corsair DDR2, for a while. Not because of any timings, but because it's been the cheapest memory available for a while now.

Hard to say. It *should* but RAM doesn't always work when different brands are paired.

Maybe somebody who has tried this combo can chime in?
