Overclocking is big and manufacturers know that. Especially when it comes to memory, I would go as far as to say that overclocking is the single most important factor to appeal to enthusiasts. (Can you think of anything else, maybe other than prices?) Any enthusiast memory vendor would want to be known as top overclocker so that's why some will send 'cherries' to reviewers. Said that, I'm inclined to believe Corsair is actually doing this from a good will. I just hope they take into account that MSRP and actual market prices can be quite different.
