Hey guys...

Running a DFI Infinity 975X with a E6300.

Can't seem to find a decent program to monitor both core's temperatures.

I'm also running Vista.

MBM5 doesn't pick up any sensors that show anything above -1C
Speedfan only shows 1 temp that seems to be one of the cores
Intel Thermal Analysis Tool does not seem to work under Vista
Coretemp shows 100C on both cores no matter what.
(Bios is reading 34C at idle)

SmartGurdian with integrated chip to your board is best for you
Speedfan and intel ITAT is pretty good

The one kmmatney suggested is a good one. Someone just got there hands on an Intel proprietary app that supposedly reads temps on a diode closer to the core than others. Don't know much about that aspect of cpus so I don't know if it's true or not. The app can also load up both cores together and is turning out to be a better stress tester than Prime95 as it heats things up more. It can be found here and there are some threads about it at Techenclave and over at XS.

I use the temp utility Intel has on their web page, cant think off the top of my head what it's called, but so far its been the most reliable with an Asus P5WS64-Pro

My Everest isn't showing any temperatures now. I recently unplugged everything from the motherboard to the PS to change parts out. Did I forget to reconnect a temperature sensor?
