Cop shoots vicious 5 lb. dog

Seeing as those smaller dogs are usually more aggressive than the larger dogs, plus you don't know what diseases the dog has.

LOL, seriously? A cop is afraid of a 5-pound dog? Damn dog's mouth probably isn't even big enough to even get around his shoe, let alone his leg.

yeah...no.

that excuse is bullshit. sur ethey are more aggressive but a boot will end it. if they even get that close. normaly they stay out of range and bark.

the excuse would make sense if it was a 90lb rotty or something.
 
I think it's actually some kind of policy to empty your whole clip, I'm surprised he did not keep shooting.

The fact that he did this while wearing a body cam just shows how he knows he wont even get in trouble over this.

Another cop with terrible aim. Good god almighty. Three shots from 6 feet away and the dog was still standing. Also, the cop should go to prison for 10 years. Large, unable to fit man parts headed straight to his seat cushion.
 
It's possible for that short video not to tell the whole story, but on the face of it I don't think the dog was acting aggressively at the time that it was shot.

Yeah I don't understand how there are so many cops with crappy aim. Do they go to the same gun school as storm troopers or something? :biggrin:
 
Cops use this as punishment. They have even shot dogs secured in crates.

The way the law works is the only thing that is needed is "interference with the investigation".

Thank God people can't be handled this way yet.

Is there going to come a day where we start holding these criminals masquerading as cops accountable to the same laws they're supposed to enforce ? This guy is a degenerate human being before even addressing him being yet another corrupt incompetent gun happy cop.

Probably.

The Supreme Court ruled that you have the right to shoot a cop dead in self defense.

I was going to make a topic about it earlier in the year and probably might start to get working on doing that.
 
It looks like a much larger dog than 5lbs to me. The video was taken out of context so I really don't think the calls for the officers head on a stick or even threatening his family are necessary. Cops have itchy trigger fingers but if dogs have been roaming around in the area terrorizing people...
