So when they proceeded with burning the cabin down, did they know for sure that no hostages were being held inside?

I also think dorner wants it to end that day. Its funny how the owner of the condo got away so fast after being tied by dorner using a zip tie. Makes you wonder if dorner didnt care if they called the police . He was just 4 miles from the condo when the hunt was on.

Or he just never learned how to use a zip tie.

He probably really didn't even want to tie her up in the 1st place but felt he didn't have a choice. When he took dudes truck he told him he didn't want to hurt him and let him take his dog. He's the nicest murdered I've ever heard of.
