The UL number on this PSU is E186010, which means it is made by ATNG POWER CO LTD.
I just noticed it's also FAR at NewEgg, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817159062 , but there's shipping with them. Looks like a POS. :disgust: Maybe I should delete my post.
That's a little harsh, don't ya think?Originally posted by: computer
So I don't guess I'll be posting anything here anymore.
HUH??? What I think is "harsh" is the TREATMENT of those that POST the deals!!Originally posted by: zodder

Let's recap:
Sure the PSU may be free (after rebate), but how much might it cost to replace your motherboard, CPU and/or video card.........

*nods head in agreement*
This is a pretty crappy PSU from reviews.
Hence the purpose of my statement! No, I don't it's harsh ONE BIT. Someone takes the time to post a deal thinking of others, and it's slammed. No good deed goes unpunished.
It's call respect, perhaps you should look into it. Someone thinks of fellow forum members and posts somethings that F.A.R., should at least receive some.Originally posted by: CKDragon
I can't believe you're getting up in arms about a few comments that claim this isn't a good deal. It's not like anyone is getting personal. But you would rather make sure everyone protects your feelings (which were unjustifiably hurt) than have others help consumers make an educated decision?
You yourself said it was a POS!
Hilarity!![]()
It's an unusual rebate is all I noticed. First, they won't accept it unless you have a reg# which you get from their website, but what's really stupid is you have to send them a self-addressed stamped envelope with the rebate form! "A self addressed stamped envelope with your own return address and rebate registration number".Originally posted by: gorcorps
Feedback from the egg:
"Pros: Actually got the rebate that took a lawyer to fill out. Power supply is working well in a budget system I have."
A lawyer? For a $30 rebate? WTF goes on in peoples' minds?
AS I PREVIOUSLY STATED: "It's call respect, perhaps you should look into it. Someone thinks of fellow forum members and posts somethings that F.A.R., should at least receive some."@OP: you said looks like a POS, maybe I should delete the post... LONG before everybody else said it was a POS themselves. Who would give a rats @ss what a bunch of folks on the internet think about you anyway? We post to warn people that it's not a great deal, and they might damage their computer with a bad PSU.
That was well put. :thumbsup:Originally posted by: nomadh
Its good that you posted it. Everyone slams the ultra here too and I know a few that are working great. People are tough on P/S deals here. If it has problems then we hash it out, in public, to save someone. A deal should help to save money on a product or the even better deal of skipping a bad or just innapropriate product. Either way saves money and time. Keep posting. Someone who read this either jumped on the deal or was going to and now skipped it. Good work.
