2CV? I dunno I've seen a lot of exotic sports car in person so I can't imagine which car is more exotic than another though I'd love to see a Porsche 959 in person.

Ferrari 360 430 599 612 F50 Enzo
Lambo Diablo SVT Murci Gallardo Reventon
Maserati Granturismo Quattroporte (not really all that rare in Miami)
Audi R8
McLaren F1 (being loaded onto a transport at a south beach condo)
Porsche Carrera GT
Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione (possibly one of my favorite cars of all time)
Bentley GT (about as common as a toyota here)
Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe
Pagani Zonda F

This is all in Miami Beach and surrounding areas.

1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 6pack 4speed with Super Track Pak (4.10 Dana 60 sure-grip axle, XHD suspension, XHD cooling and disc brakes) 1 of something like 200 made. I have the numbers somewhere in my reference books.

1970 Chev Monte Carlo fully loaded with swivel bucket seats.

1971 Buick GS 455 convertible. Not a Stage 1 car, but damn that thing would leave twin stripes all through first gear while incinerating 255 60 15 tires.

1979 LiL Red Express all original low mileage. Sweet truck.

I have seen so many rare classic cars it isn't funny.

Even my own Mopar is rare. 1979 Lebaron 2 door with the A07 Spring Sport Special package makes mine 1 of less than 1000 made.

Saw a green 71 442 W-30 the other day. It was cherry.

There's a Nissan GTR I've seen a few times.

My uncle worked briefly at the Porsche dealership in town, and they have a Carrera GT.

There was an all-original Shelby Cobra at a small car show.

followed a Ferrari Testarossa ( I think that's what it was ) down a few miles of I-20, and so were a lot of other people lol.

Aston Martin DB9 ( looked brand new too ) in the Wal-Mart parking lot. It was parked next to a beat up old Jetta.

Maserati Quattroporte ( not sure, but it was 2000+ ) in the parking lot of some giant downtown dallas hotel.

Nice 442

I was visiting a famous restoration shop many years ago, and they had an original Ferrari 250 GTO, recently restored. Only 39 were ever made, and they've traded hands for as much as $25 million at auction.

Ferrari 250 GTO

427 Cobra on way to Lake Tahoe. One of my neighbors has a Lamborgini Countach. He only drives it once in a while, usually putts around about 30 mph.

What a shame...

Yeah I'd go steal it but if you're taller than 5'6" you probably wouldn't fit. If I got in I'd never get out. seats do not adjust, apparently they expect you to adapt to the car, not the other way around. Kind of hard to deny you stole it when you're stuck in it.

Some of the rarer ones I've seen are:

Carrera GT sitting in the middle of a dealership near here
Bugatti Veyron sitting in traffic on a freeway
McLaren F1 on the road

Maserati's, Ferrari's, Aston Martins, all different types of Porsche are pretty commonplace around here.

I live in Carlsbad, CA which can be considered the projects in comparison to Rancho Santa Fe/Fairbanks Ranch further inland. Del Mar and La Jolla are close by as well...

I own a 9 year old Japanese car, but cool/rare cars are seemingly a dime a dozen here.

Not a lot of special cars around here. F355s, Testarossas, old Rolls-Royces, the occasional Aston Martin, a really nice Bricklin. I thought I saw a Gallardo once and a Carerra GT once, but I couldn't be sure. I did see a Tulsa Four in a museum...the only one left in the world. Doesn't get any rarer than that. The same place had the Hudson from Driving Miss Daisy and a lot of other really interesting cars. I also would love to see a 959.

I saw a GTR on my way home from work one day, which is rare in my town even though we do have a fairly large Nissan dealership.

I saw a truck towing a trailer with two Corvettes with Lingenfelter badges on them on my way to work one day.

Considering most of the more rare expensive cars were already listed in the thread, the only thing I could think of was the two Jaguar XJ220's I saw at the Barrett Jackson car show.
