Neat idea. Though it should have a solar panel or mini pop up wind turbine or something so it can be self sufficient. Would be neat to throw a peltier cooler in there too to help keep the ice longer. Though I guess all that would add to the cost.

All those tech items, and no mention of whether it actually helps keep items cooler than a regular cooler? A blender built in? $180? It seems like he just threw in any sort of technology that could fit. Now you'd have to make sure the cooler battery (and speaker battery) is charged ahead of time. Why not just have a few velcro straps or something so I can stick the speaker and blender I already own to it.

Solar panels are expensive, don't really put out that much wattage until they get decent sized and break easily, nothing good to add to the coolest..

One of those things that looks great on late night TV, but doesn't quite work when you try to use it yourself. I also predict accelerated decomposition as things break over a relatively short time.

that thing must weigh a ton. myself? skip all the gimicks and get a 12v fridge. one of the most usefull things i have ever purchased in my life. No more soggy food or stoping for ice. low power consumption and when unplugged will keep food cold all day.

That's nice and well constructed but it looks expensive. It's sort of designed for a 2-week safari rather than a weekend BBQ at the lake. I think where the "coolest" is lacking is I don't see where 12V can re-charge its battery on the go..

It mentions that the blender has an 18v rechargeable battery in it, and also mentions that's where the USB ports get their power. What about the LEDs? They probably run off of it too... or do they have their own battery? It sounds like you HAVE to have the blender with you if you want the electronics to work, just as the power source. If it's something I'm not going to use, that's a really stupid design decision. I either have to waste a bunch of room carrying a blender I don't want, or leave the blender at home leaving me with just a small cooler with a bottle opener.

What about the bluetooth speaker? It says it's removable, so it has to have its own battery. Is it rechargeable, and I have to remember to charge that thing too? Or maybe it runs on disposable batteries. Who knows, there's no details.

I thought it looked a little like a Pontiac Aztec.

LMAO.

Yea, I hear what you are all saying, but I still find it pretty awesome because well, it is. I like the novelty of it. I would imagine crap will break, batteries die out, etc etc, and how often would you use the blender (granted, we would actually use it quite a bit). There's lots of reasons "not" to get it, but..from a fun factor, if you can say such a thing about a cooler, I'm intrigued.

I don't imagine it cools any better than any other cooler, although they claim it has more insulation in some spots.

The no tie down on traditional cooler reminded me of late night infomercials - cheapens the selling pitch. And is anyone really going to be making smoothies on a moving boat while smiling into the camera? Seems like kind of a reach.

I liked the tie down feature and the divider. Everything else is a questionable. Cool to have if you got money to throw around, but I'd be worried about battery longevity. Plus it's too expensive and I don't see anywhere if the battery is replaceable when it dies. And while I know it may sound kind of silly, but it bothers me that it's not rectangular - packing efficiency matters, the angled style is going to make it more difficult to pack.

Quick check for a blender on Amazon: A $32 Hamilton Beach blender is rated for 700W peak power.

1) I hope you're not blending anything harder than peaches.
2) Exactly how large of a battery are you planning on taking?

Or else it's a piece of crap blender that starts throwing parts the first time it meets an ice cube, so it won't have a chance to run down the battery.
