ClubIT has the Cooler Master RC-533-SWN1 AMMO PC Case on sale for $59.97 after a $10 rebate. However, when clicking on the rebate link, it says the rebate is $15, so the final cost may be even less.

This is the best case in the world today. Trust me. I ordered it on Monday and just got it today and set it up. Easy to work with and looks nice. Pictures don't do it justice.

Correct. It's no different in that aspect than any other case. You just remove the cover wherever you plan to install your CD/DVD drive.

I really like the case. By far, out of all the cases I've owned, this is my favorite. And I've owned Antecs, Lian-Li's, other Cooler Masters, Thermalte Armor & Tsunami. This beats them all for simplicity, ease of installation, function and looks. And the handle is very useful, even just for moving it around in your own home.
 
well, I have the centurion case and its not bad at all, although you never said it was bad, from the looks of it, both cases internals look exactly the same with the exception of the 3-1/2" bay on the bottom front of the ammo case, but for $59.97, its a steal! great lan case...

No, it's threadcrapping if you just don't stand up and salute the deal......heaven forbid anyone points out some PERTINENT information about a potential rebate problem. :roll:

I, too, am wondering why ClubIT's page for the case says the rebate dates are 1/26/06-2/24/06 while the rebate FORM has valid purchase dates of 2/3/06-2/24-06.

Of course, there is the stated $10 rebate vs. the $15 rebate that shows, too. It'd seem logical to either call ClubIT and verify the rebate or wait a few days for the valid dates. I'm all for saving $$, but hate to think someone's going to get denied because he/she bought too early.

That doesn't take away from the fact that this is a hot deal. I'm a senior member while you're just a member, so I have a better understanding of what constitutes a hot deal. Plus, this deal has free shipping.
 
I had no idea that a person's understanding of anything was directly related to the number of times he/she posts on an internet tech forum. I feel like such a foolio!

LOL, it's got stupid writing on the side saying "HD" and "PSU", not to mention the cheesy radiation symbol. Oh, wait and arrow showing you which was is up LOL!.. Ok, so I guess this is a good purchase if you want something to match your Batman underroos..

I am pretty much sold on the Antec P150 for something sight unseen, but will be looking at one this week. It a very quiet and very low temp case. As long as I get a new revision PSU I should be ok. oh and the P150 will be $150 for me total, so that would about the same as this AMMO with a decent PSU.. Oh and yeah the P150 is white so if you don't like it then it ain't for you. I prefer black, but I also prefer no non-functional toy gun lights as well..

Ok I think the AMMO is a cool case, but those gimmicks have to go, and the handle looks like it is riveted.. is it removable? I put stuff on my case all the time.. That would mess it up.

According to the poll only two people have ordered (including Cooliodealio) so these thing aren't really flying off the shelves.

Im looking for the Centurion model similar to the Centurion 5 but with the drive bays facing the side of the case, towards you so that they pull out directly. Anyone know which model that is offhand ??? I am super picky about cases and the more I look at, the pickier I get. I like the Centurion 5 but I am tired of trying to wedge a case fan in the front of the case with no room to speak of. TIA
