Groovy. If I ever get another job I'll save up for a year and actually buy Photoshop someday.

This quote was LOLworthy.

"Hmm.... Seems photoshopped. I can tell by the pixels and from seeing a few photoshops in my time."

Is that magic?

Damn. Now that's a tool that is super awesome. I don't have the time or car to do things manually in Photoshop, mainly because I have no pressing need, just a mild desire. Not enough of a desire to endure the pain.
That one new capability of CS5 seems to make the entire app completely worth it.

Weird. It seems the ability to do this has been around for awhile (GIMP plugin, etc). I wonder why we are all just learning about now. This would have saved me so many hours of touching up photos as these years :(

Wasn't impressed by the leaves (clone tool, anyone?) or the tree removal, but the desert and panoramic fixes were incredible. Do want.

I've been playing around with it in Gimp and I'm failing miserably. I must be retarded. :( I free select the object, hit smart object remove.. and it simply replaces that area with a completely dissimilar texture from elsewhere in the image. I dont know how I mess this up, but somehow I manage to. For example, I'll select a red ball in the green grass and try to smart remove and it'll paste in texture from the sky.
