Cool new(?) Gmail feature

Don't know how long this has been around, but I went to mark an annoying email (from a phone app account) as spam and got this:

I needed to supply an email for an account, but I definitely don't want to receive their obnoxious updates. I mark as spam, and *poof* they're gone.

I was messing around with Hotmail today and I noticed a cool feature. They keep track of all the tracking numbers you receive and there is a separate folder for viewing tracking information for all your shipments in one place. Pretty nifty.

It has been there for awhile. Mailing lists I did sign up for but no longer give a crap about, instead of going to unsubscribe I'd just mark it as spam and that box would come up.

I'm not going to argue over the definition of spam. If I don't want someone's emails anymore I mark as spam and they're gone, that's all I care about.
