Don't know how long this has been around, but I went to mark an annoying email (from a phone app account) as spam and got this:
Awesome!
Awesome!
Kiss my salty taint.*insert some useless, anti-someone/something diss/rant offtopic nonsense that GA usually responds with*
I needed to supply an email for an account, but I definitely don't want to receive their obnoxious updates. I mark as spam, and *poof* they're gone. It's not spam, you signed up for it.

Wow, that's nifty! Its been there for a while.
I was messing around with Hotmail today and I noticed a cool feature. They keep track of all the tracking numbers you receive and there is a separate folder for viewing tracking information for all your shipments in one place. Pretty nifty
I'm not going to argue over the definition of spam. If I don't want someone's emails anymore I mark as spam and they're gone, that's all I care about. But you signed up for it, therefore it is not spam.
