And everyone's hardware is in limbo at the moment I guess... if you ordered something it should be in by tommorow.
The server was down for around 8 hours, so add 8 hours to your expected delivery time...

****Notice****

We are kicking people off the team who are inactive. More people on the team means that the team gets less points. If you become active again you are welcome to reapply for membership and we'll let you back on.

Stupid bastard kicked me out of the Anandtech cell. :| You do NOT turn on someone who's trying to help. It's called LOYALTY, no matter what happens. Sorry, it may be a stupid game, but I took great offense to being kicked out. I'm not as active as you people who have nothing better to do than play this game, and that's fine by me.

Fvck Team Anandtech. :|

Well, a lot of people joined but then didn't do anything for a long time. You should have been notified before the kick... but how it works is that your points are divided by the ammount of people on the team. So if you have a lot of inactive people on the team it is taking away from everybody else. And a lot of people it seemed decided to try it out, and then didn't do anything for a couple of days. So we decided to start booting inactive accounts (this is done in every cell). We thought you had gone inactive. Sorry if you hadn't.

Who cares whether everyone else likes to be disloyal wankers or not. Besides, what do you care? You're not interested in being a part of a cell, you're interested in kicking out people who YOU don't think are doing a good enough job because you're not getting enough free mooching off of other people when they win/lose a mission. But that's fine by me, too.

In any case, it doesn't matter now anyway. I'm NOT rejoining.

It's not that... it's that a lot of people quit the game. We thougth you were one of those people. It isn't that we are getting any "free mooching"... we get the same no matter what. It is that the cell itself gets less the more people there are. The points going to the cell are divided by the ammount of people in the cell. So, if you have inactive people, it is taking away from the cell.

My (or other people's) score isn't affected by inactive people being there or not. But the cell score is. So we are trying to look after the cell in fact, no ourselves.

It seems you still wanted to participate, and I apologize for the kick. But a lot of people did quit and were draining the cell. Since we have booted people, we have jumped 10 places in rank. Now you can say this is a stupid game, but that is exactly right... it is a game and the whole point in the first place. We are just trying to play the game.

You kicked people so that the number that everyone in the cell gets (based on a set number divided by the number of people in the cell) goes up. You're more interested in getting more for other people's work than you are keeping the people in the cell on a level of more than a tool to make yourself more rich.

I get the same ammount of credits whether I am the only person in the cell or whether there are 1000 people in the cell.

I was talking about points, and the cell rank.

Um... okay. But you're still a disloyal asshat.

WTF?? How can people already have scores of 6000???? The game can't have been running for more than what, 2-3 hours now??

At any rate, somebody let me back in Team AT! :)

If you win a full mission (of 20 people), you get 6000 points. So, it can be done...

Yeah, that makes sense...

Is the server down again? I'm getting "connection refused" messages.

Edit: N/m - it's down for a few hours for updates this morning.

After a week of downtime to fix bugs/add features, LOST is back up.

If you want to play you'd better hurry, they're only allowing 500 people join this round. Right now there are still 320 accounts available.

Let me know when the thing is stable. I'm not gonna waste my time on a game that keeps resetting...
