Hey, that's cool. I just fininshed my first mission and started my second. But I can't seem to research the things I want to research now. I have "basic run command" that I want to research, but when I click on it, my browser does nothing.

Yah, I was thinking the same thing. Then I noticed the TP (tech point) requirement. Quite a bit. Your TP's seem to slowly regenerate. I am up to 15 now so still have a long way to go.

Guess it is just doing missions for a while.

Also, joing the anantech cell (though dude doesn't seem to be accepting anyone yet... get on the ball dude! I want to be Hardware Manager)

Dude... can you assign positions? I look at other cells and some people have "Approver" or "Hardware Manager" as titles. Can you make me "Hardware Manager"?

Alright, finished my first mission. My Software is unstable. What can i do? Are my l337 skillz not good enough? Do I need to upgrade anything? Hmm....

lol... I have finished 4 missions, all failed for various reasons. I am now second level but haven't successfuly completed a mission yet

I think you just generally sucks at lower levels. As you go up, and your stats increase, I think you then start getting successful.

Try lowering your balance. When your software is unstable, it means you are trying to hack too fast. Try lowering balance to around 35-40, and maybe consider raising nodes to about 12-15.

If I finish a mission unstable i raise balance, if I was detected i lower nodes
:its been working out well for me, but others might disagree with that technique. I finally got myself tweaked to the point where I have now WON 4 missions in a row and I just cracked the top 25.

current setting : 7 / 60 YMMV

I thought that the more nodes you had, the more secure you were. And the less balance you had, the slower you hacked. I could definately be wrong, I'm only 191...I'll try out your setting and see what happens.

I have no idea really - I just followed this system at the advice of a Cell mate and it worked well for me...
